They have as much weight as yours.

We're going around in circles. In my view, and that of just about anybody who's not a committed left wing socialist - and that's the vast majority of the U.K. Electorate - he's totally and utterly unelectable.

In my opinion, it's no wonder we end up with an ever creeping right wing Govt when people simply dismiss politicians like Corbyn.

It's also my opinion that this outdated view that has been fuelled by the Murdoch media will eventually die out.

My honest opinion is that having lost Scotland, the changes to party funding and constituency boundaries and a rampant right-wing pro-Tory and UKIP press (Express funded UKIP campaign. Sun, Times, Mail, Telegraph, Spectator, Metro, Channel 5, BBC News and Sky News are all Tory supporters) it's going to be extremely difficult for Labour to get into power.

No party in the last 35 years has won an election without the backing of the Sun.

The only hope Labour have got is to build a massive grassroots campaign and appeal to SNP and UKIP supporters, potentially having an alliance with the Greens and Plaid and the Ulster Unionists.

If they disaffected huge amounts of their party, pee off the unions, split the party and further alienate the working class by chasing the 25% who voted Tory then they are as good as dead

    It's far from bollocks.

He's shown **** all leadership qualities during his year as opposition leader, including overseeing the supposed challenge from Labour to Leave, which was a complete wash out.

Virtually his entire PLP have black balled him, how the **** anyone can now even attempt to argue that the bloke would have any credibility with the wider electorate beyond some of the card carrying members is beyond me.

Oh and if you honestly believe that modern politics is all about policy and not persona, then you're trapped in some bygone era mate

Then I would suggest that you're the exception rather than the rule.

I'd like to see a Lab/Green/Plaid pact. Lots of their policies have overlaps anyway and they all support the working class. Politics desperately needs to move away from the Murdoch controlled BS that keeps the corporation's puppets in power. It exasperates me to hear people (who probably have broadly left leaning views) saying 'Corbyn is unelectable', that's EXACTLY the mission of the Sun, Mail, Telegraph, Times, Sky etc .... and too many people are unquestioningly accepting it.

There are NO stats that show Corbyn has even the remotest chance of winning a GE!...

Won the Labour leadership by a landslide 250,000 votes, Won 4 by elections, won 4 mayoral elections, increased the Labour membership, successfully challenged the Tory attempt to abolish working tax credits, secured 60% of the Labour vote for Remain.

And that's in just his first 9 months

    Based on what?

At least there's a minimum of 600,000 (more likely at least 1million) left wing socialist in the country suddenly. A sizeable voter group, and a well motivated one as well...

Corbyns electoral record is the worst for a labour leader in modern history, he's about as popular as herpes to the wider electorate. What part of that is difficult to accept like?

His popularity and approval rating within the party is also dropping like a stone.

Maybe, I doubt it. Even 1 mill is nowhere near enough to win a GE.

UKIP got 3.3 mill votes at the last GE and ended up with one seat!

I dont think it would take long to produce some.

He's about as popular as a rattlesnake in a lucky dip with the general electorate.

No it's not. His electoral record is that since he's been leader he's won 4 by elections (despite the media saying Labour would lose) and 4 Mayoral elections.

Also his popularity rating is actually going up, with more people supporting him that Ed Milliband. Jeremy Corbyn has more positive support after three months as Labour leader than Ed Miliband did at the same stage of his leadership, according to the monthly ComRes poll for The Independent on Sunday.

Will you ever produce a single stat to back up your opinions?
