I suppose I live in a make believe paradise! <ok>

All I was doing was pointing out that calling all Muslims pigfuckers is a racist comment. That's a fact.

So where do you live now that causes you so much concern about immigration?

Where I live now is very white middle class English town (well semi rural)
My concern with immigration is too many to fast.

As I have always said, if they offer a skill we need, let them in, but not the pickpockets and prostitutes (I think they are from ro.......) <whitle>

I would have happily voted to say in the EU if Call me Dave has sorted out that problem..

    ...may be not

You cannot stop me. I am a British citizen with a British passport. Now answer the question, if you can.

So none of the 'get back control of our borders' contingent can tell me where I can gain uncontrolled access to the U.K. without using people smugglers, which means that it is nothing to do with membership of the EU then. Yet another reason to leave the EU shot down then.

You dont understand the question in hand

If a terrorist from country X lives in say Germany or any EU country for 4 years they can have permanent residency, they then if we had stayed in the EU been able to come live in the UK unchallenged, just like some Euro people have done (with criminal records, such as rape and murder)
Would you like these people to live next door you you?

Is that easy enough to understand.

What if they just apply to come and live and work in the UK and get a visa because we all accept we need foreign workers? I doubt they put "Terrorist" down as their occupation on their visa application form.

As has been shown many times already, it's the home grown radicalized terrorist who's already there that you should be worried about. Not watching every port for the odd one from abroad!

Besides, how thick do you think ISIS are?...

You just check everybody at the border. They could be terrorists, criminals or other undesirables. You don't just "worry" about a few people.

I fully understand the question. UK border control have turned back thousands of EU citizens at point of entry, as well as people from the rest of the world. New citizens will have to go through the same checks as everyone else. There will not be different rules for them. The important part is having better liaison with other countries including those within the EU to be aware of who is likely to be a threat. At the moment the greatest terrorist threat come from British citizens, not immigrants.
You are also far more likely to have a British murderer, rapist or *****phile living next door to you than an immigrant one
If you think immigrants will able just turn up in French, German or any other countries equivalent to the Home Office and say let me have a passport you are mistaken. It is just not that easy and their origins will be encrypted into the passports when they do manage to get one

Everybody, including UK nationals, have their passport checked at the border now. We're not part of the Schengen Agreement.

As Paul has already alluded to...

When you go to the EU, you just flash your passport, they wave you through, same when an EU person comes the otherway, nobody knows if that person is a criminal, because no checks are made.

My next door neighbour jsut came back from France and was waved through

    Wrong!!

I visit the UK several times every year. My passport is always thoroughly vetted at the airport immigration.
