All the major consequences are what's called 'laggers' - lagging indicators, or statistics. In other words, it takes time for things like a decline in GDP to feed through. But, it's coming and no mistake. Inflation too will rise, and at some point the BOE will have to decide between giving a certain leeway, or risking further damage to an already declining economy by raising rates.

Lloyds bank announced these closures before the referendum result, but because they mentioned Brexit, you lot are all over it like a rash. Lloyds bank has about as much credibility in the financial world as the daily mail has in the world of fine journalism!!
The reality is that, as more people are using online banking services, it was inevitable that high street banks would suffer. As you have constantly ridiculed the Brexit voters (the great unwashed) for somehow not being on the same intellectual level as the Remain voters, they are probably not the people that generally use the Internet for anything (I've yet to find a site that trade with milk vouchers!!), let alone banking (this bits tongue in cheek, by the way), so maybe on this occasion, people who voted to remain, (you know, the vastly superior, forward thinking, highly successful, only voice that matters etc. etc.) may have played a part in Lloyds decision.

More than 50,000 people took an exclusive poll by Express.co.uk last week which asked: “One month on from the EU referendum, how do you feel?”The results were decisive, with 71 per cent of people saying they felt “hopeful and positive”, while just 19 per cent were “fearful and concerned” and ten per cent “uncertain."
Other than those still in work, since Brexit there have been 1.36 million jobs uploaded to job boards since the referendum with almost a third of which being new roles. Even though the job market felt the uncertainty with a fall of 700,000 adverts the week after Brexit the amount of brand jobs now being uploaded easily outweighs that drop in adverts. So it seems the recruitment industry hasn’t suffered greatly from the effects of Brexit!"
The CLA (www.cla.org.uk) view Brexit as the biggest opportunity to make positive changes to the UK’s rural economy in over four decades and they are working with the Government to put in place a framework for success in creating new opportunities for trade outside of the EU.
One of the more positive outcomes of the glorious Brexit win could be that we see the scroungers and wasters start to spend less, save more and pay down some of the debt they have accrued.

There's still no shortage of deluded drivel from right wing websites, and of course The Mail and The Express, for Fuxit voters to quote. This denial of reality is pretty ingrained and will continue for some time. In the meantime all the indicators are that the economy is about to take a big hit, with the worst hit areas likely to be the very areas of the UK which voted overwhelmingly to leave the EU.
In the meantime, we haven't left anything yet. That's bound to please all the racist inbreds who voted to send the Poles home. And where's that £350mill for the NHS?
