You don't read or listen too well, do you?

And the health treatment I receive here makes the NHS look like something out of a Crimean battlefield! So, why on earth would I want to come back there?

The medical care here is superb, and free. I've no idea where these people live, but they're obviously missing out.

For your sake, I hope they're good at ulcers and depression.

As I have neither, I won't worry too much.

And,I live and am resident inside the EU, so why should I worry?

To be fair, May has made it clear that whilst "Brexit means Brexit", she is going to drag it out for years. She knows it will lead to chaos and doesn't want to be at the helm when it happens. Maybe she'll chuck the hand grenade to Boris, which would be hilarious as he's proving to be utterly clueless.

Well it would be hilarious for her and the fools that believed Boris but for the country as a whole it would be catastrophic!

She's already lobbed the grenade to both Boris and Davies. They were proclaiming before the referendum that we could get a great deal with the EU, that wouldn't involve freedom of movement

When they both get Royally ****ed off from Brussels, and make their way back with the best that's on the table then she may well choose to call an election before pulling the trigger.

She played a blinder with her cabinet appointments.

    Johnson
    Fox
    Davies

You wanted it. You sort it.

So far they've been too busy squabbling with each other to actually do any work! <laugh>

I think you are right. And she knows that while the PLP are busy tearing the Labour party apart she'll have a good chance of winning another election. And no doubt by that time a lot more people will realise what a **** up Brexit is and she can campaign on a platform of damage limitation or even keeping us in/not enforcing Article 50...

The only issue with that is that it plays the same way as most of her recent political career - very good politics but piss poor performance - she was made home office secretary (or whatever it's called) with a promise of halving immigration (totally unachievable) but both doubled it, pissed off the customs people, cut their staff and oversaw an increase in people trafficking - she then attacked the police - who roundly booed her at their annual conference. It was almost like a 'roast' for her with them all insulting her, rather than a conference! She has privatised a lot of police functions, giving the contracts to her husbands company - G4S - to typically (and expected) poor results.

And now she's put these three in charge of one job with no clear mandate between them - with the clown Boris as the 'face of Britain' negotiating trade deals and diplomacy for us! So they'll spend the next year squabbling instead of doing anything productive!

All the while she erodes our Human Rights with the Snoopers Charter, the British Bill of Rights and various other bills.

It's a continuation of her delivering poor performances which she blames on others, then gets promoted off!

    Exactly.

She's yet another suit full of **** all.

Her words are just that - words.

She's a political success off the back of being nothing more than politically astute. Call me old fashioned but I prefer to see the cream rise off the back of tangible success, not cleverly chosen tactics.

It's scary how similar how close to the House of Cards plot everything that happened over the summer has been. - the way she sat back and allowed 1st George to become favourite to succeed Cameron, therefore putting himself in the firing line and drawing a line in the sand with his Remain stance (and torpedoing his popularity by saying a Brexit would damage the economy). Then Boris rose as main challenger, drawing a line in the sand with his Brexit stance and putting himself in the firing line to draw all the flack once the referendum was over and we actually voted to leave - something not even he expected/hoped for! So he got all the blame and backed down.

All the while Teresa stayed in the background, unsullied by the bad press on either side of the increasingly bitter referendum campaign. She then swoops in and takes the main prize!

Then you have the 'brick' incident with Labour - same thing happened in House of Cards! It's madness...

That's what I said right at the start, but got told that I wasn't being being sensible.

I wish I was clever, you know, like an accountant or something!...

Happens in all walks of life, Tobes. When I was in the City I saw and worked with some complete halfwits who were in senior positions, earning a fortune.

Their only talent was knowing which were the right arses to kiss!...

I know that it has nothing to do with the EU but seeing as people have seemingly forgotten that the Chilcott Report ever existed and the press are doing everything they can to ensure they don't mention it, I thought I'd post this interest comment from Amnesty International on the Chilcott Report -
    https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/n...ional-response-to-chilcot-report-on-iraq-war/

Also for anyone (and I've met a few) who think that there are no refugees and that they are all economic migrants flocking to the UK to claim our benefits and live a life of luxury, then this report on the experiences of some Syrian refugees might be of interest - https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/n...ng-war-what-awaits-syrian-children-in-europe/

"Immigration authorities had 282 refugees take a series of age assessment tests where doctors rated their age by examining teeth, bones and genitals. Nearly three out of four of the refugees examined – 203 out of 282 – were determined to be adults."
