Sorry but that’s deluded. There’s no way that we’d find out if he’s good enough as he’d be given 2 or 3 mistakes and that’d be it for the crowd. We have some of the least forgiving fans in the country, and if they turned on beadling he may end up the same as Matthews and nervy as hell. I wouldn’t want to bring any kids into that team at present basically because they’d be lambs to the slaughter. It’s fine bedding in youngsters in a winning team but not in a toxic atmosphere like we have.
We are singing from the same flysheet, just to keep changing the manager, when its the players who are the problem is not the way forward. His team selection has been fine, the coaching can only go so far, after that its down to the players and it will take time to address this, and with no real money available, it wont be overnight no matter who the manager is.
I will be there full of hope and alcohol. Anyone turning out early for a few beers can give me a shout..
Spot on Marcus... Our fans are a nightmare and must take a share of responsibility for the utter lack of confidence displayed at home games..
I get what your saying but we need change and I think it's a viable option otherwise no matter how good youngsters are they will rarely be given a chance here. He may not make 2or 3 mistakes and being positive our fans also get right behind local young players. Yes I can imagine how toxic it'll be but do nothing and we sink. Yes it might be grasping at straws but we need to blood some of our youngsters who are used to winning and will play for the shirt. Have backup on the bench in case it fails. Edit: the experienced players are as nervy as hell so what's to lose.
Nobody can fix the club fast enough for some. Those people will only ever cut a frustrated figure cause they actually think over half a decade of bad business can be fixed with one quick football management appointment and no funds. They're their own worst enemies though, you see how unhappy they are. They want everybody else to be unhappy too which is why they force it over and over and over, their right but it makes them boring as well as unhappy. Thank god footy isn't the center of my world.
