Don't let's get too wound up about Rules. The Rules as published in the Competition will apply. We can perfect the Competition Rules for next time but don't forget it is a fun competition and everyone will benefit (or otherwise) to the same extent.

After the excitement of the Derby. I now have to get some things ready for my wife before she shoots off to UK so I'll be back later with the results of the B Competition.

Well a few did very well. Anyone who didn't use their £100 today lost it. Well done to Tam who risked the whole lot on day 2 and came up trumps. Well done also to Islander and Steveo77. Thanks for entering. Hope you enjoyed it and come back for more. If you think the competition(s) could be improved please let me know with suggestions.

Ron, sorry again to be a pain- but you've given me too much money.
It should be £449.57 (fifth the odds) or £502.81 , if you're giving a quarter the odds a place.
Anyhow, I know how much effort these comps take, so on behalf of myself and everyone else, thank you kindly for your work.

I also made the bet return 502.82 Tam. I'll have to take a look to see why it came up with a remaining bank of739.44. No I won't I've spotted it already. I had your total stake as £236.62 instead of £473.24. Plonker, clerical error. Because of all the different types of bets I didn't bother to automate the total stake. I think I will for next time. I'll just correct that and the balance will (should) come out automatically. Thanks for pointing it out.

Fantastic win Tam. Class showed out in the end. I played a strategy by keeping a small bank balance, just in case most of us fell over. Never have I looked so good, for being so ordinary.
