Obviously you don't know your Cockney rhymning slang - it is the shortening for Berkhampstead Hunt and therefore, originally, a very heavy insult. Or is the said town now written Burkhampstead ? Are you referring to Hamelamestede, or Hamelhamsted, or Hemlamstede or to the now rather vulgar, common name Hemel Hempstead ? However, we have taken the thread far enough off course - but then nothing of any sense was coming from your direction anyway and so it didn't matter.

I live in Jersey and the nearest I get to the beach are the coastal paths.
