The end of relegation?

    Yeah, while it looks like the Americans have got some things right with their sport, others are badly wrong. We have a sense of belonging with our clubs, but if Newcastle United moved to Folkestone, I don't think I'd feel quite as strongly about them!

    As for our start to the season, the accusation we'd played lesser teams was nonsense anyway! 5/8 of the teams we've played finished above us last season. Arsenal at home and Sunderland away was an almost impossible start to the season, but nobody knew at the time that the two teams would get off to a fairly bad start.

    so there would be no competiton at all? i dont get how it would work, what would be the point of watching football if your not playing for anything, i know the rugby league do it and no one watches that.

    Fergies come out this morning and said it would be 'suicide'. I really wish we had actual football people at the FA and Premier League to shout down these ridiculous suggestions before we hear about them (this, game 39, skewed tv payments etc etc).

    That's why someone who actually has a clue should be runnng the FA.

    Foreign Owners: We think we should scrap relegation.

    I think we should scrap relegation sharpish, personally. Didn't used to think that scrapping it was such a hot idea, but now I'm not so sure...

    Difficult to say because of the bizarre decisions over our strikers - despite the dissapointment of some results I'm goingt to stick with my prediction 8th-10th unless we do not replayce Gyan if that was the case then I reckon we'll finish around 14-15th. I think our defence will keep us out of a real relegation dogfight.

    Too early after only 8 games, but something's got to change. Going back to last season our recent run is a shocker.
