That's a mighty relief then; apparently it's just about the formula - phew!

There was me thinking it was about winning games and picking your best starting 11 from amongst the players you work with every day. How naive of me!

Can anyone out there help PJ and let him know what this elusive formula actually is? Answers on a post card please c/o "The FA Kindergarten"

Pick your best players in their correct positions and play a settled side week in, week out and that means no more Leadbitter!

Wrong players
Right players
Wrong formula
Now what?

Could go back to the days of:

Keeper
Right Back - Left Back
Right Half, Centre Half, Left Half
Outside Right, Inside Right, Centre Forward, Inside Left, Outside Left

Always remember this working well, but then I was in goal at the time.......
