I do prefer the local Caucasian taxi drivers, but that's only because they are more chatty and don't try and rip you off...
Ok Matt Are you still coming up? Is the hotel booked? Which one? Have you got any plans for friday night? We did discuss a meal? What time are you wanting to start supping on Saturday, and are we looking a wetherspoons early doors 8.30/9.00? I presume we will all be getting to the Salters for 12ish so peeps going to the game can meet up? Are you still up for saturday night a well? in which case billys is the obvious place to start after the game before going into town. WTF is WJ when you need him to do some organising?
I'll be coming along on the Thursday night. I want to be central to everything (as my sense of direction is terrible) Where is everyone staying and I will book it tomorrow. How much do I owe for ticket? Also, this may sound stupid, but Will I get into pubs ok on Saturday. In Southampton, on a Saturday, its id everywhere? Will book in fri and Sat night
The ticket is on me. At 41 you won't be ID'd unless you are chatting up ten year olds. Billys only let members in after the game but I have that sorted. Shaks is staying at Bewleys, if I was you I would get into Raddison blu! Lol Crown Plaza and the Hilton are very central.
Matey, I will sort ya out another way for the ticket pal I thought Shaks was coming over early Saturday am, then going after the game??? Im happy to stay wherever majority are staying
You might be right, I thought he was over Friday? I won't be staying over, she can drive. The ticket is on me, payback for the laughs this place gives. You can get the first beer in.
Looking at hotels, but no idea where any of these places are http://www.trivago.co.uk/?iPathId=4...=false&bIsSitemap=false&rp=&sSemKeywordInfo=&
You can sort them by distance knobhead. How much you spending. Use booking.com it's better than trivago. Crowne plaza, park plaza, radison, ibis, Hilton Bewleys are all central. Radison is the best and ur minted.
If you want to be out in the bars yeah. Thursday seem a bit excessive unless you have plans. Get in the Radison Blu 10 mins walk from the station, and right in the nightlife. Crowne plaza is North west of city centre 5 mins from station. If you want cheaper shaks recommends Bewleys and that 10 minutes from the station and city centre going towards ER if full the IBiS is 10 mins from the station going east. It's near the calls if you like a pricey drink. Pay your money take ur choice. I would be in the Radison even if it's only for the cocktails in Browns downstairs. Place is full of tottie.
