GMI did nothing valuable whatsoever. I can justify that by pointing out that the more of something there is the less valuable it is. He spread himself thinner than **** on a farm in his efforts to dominate - not contribute to - threads.
As a blue, I have to admit that seeing you all arguing with Barry was quite funny sometimes. Seriously, he has changed his style quite a lot from his days on the beeb forum. As to the insulting part, I've seen plenty of Southampton fans dishing out far worse than anything GMI posted, so banning him for that is a non starter. Whenever Southampton lost, Barry always lost his temper and was quick to criticise the team soon after. Again I've seen plenty of that on here too in match threads. His biggest crime? Stubborness, the incessant repetition from what I can tell, the same point again and again. His best feature? Humour, read some of his replies, they are very funny, it's not all doom and gloom. I think Barry could still have a place on here, if he toned down the negative aspects somewhat and stuck more to the lighter side a bit more. Remember too that I speak as someone who experienced on BBC606 from the start of our "difficult" period a lot of banter from GMI/Barry Sanchez, some of it being of SB3 proportions, name changes, ridiculous exaggerations etc; yet through conversing with him in a positive way, I found out he wasn't such a bad cove after all. If I, a Pompey fan, could make friends with him surely you guys could too?
Barry, if that really is you and not someone mucking about, I would strongly suggest you do your time! Then come back and try a different tack.
