So the BBC are talking about a Leeds United Renaissance, the rebirth of Wolverhampton Wanderers, the resurgence of the both Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday, the resurrection of the Bluebirds as they all seek a place at the High Altar of Football. There is one other team near the top that has gone largely unnoticed, Preston North End. I would love that club to get one of the promotion places, along with Fulham, who are just beginning to put things together again, and if last season is anythihg to go by, will certainly be up there challenging for promotion.
Me too................just in case we are struggling to score again next season.......................
Olomola scored for Yeovil again last night. Think he now has more league goals this season than the whole of our first team squad put together...!!
The part I lived in definitely wasn't up market! I was working at the RHCH at the time, couldn't afford anywhere grand!
Is it worth merging this with the General Football Thread as it has been inactive for about six weeks now? PS: Anyone keepiing an eye on Sheffield United? I had a feeling at the beginning of the season that this side could well match our achievements with back-to-back promotions. Long way to go though, and unlike our season, there doesn't appear to be a stand-out team as yet. I am waiting for Fulham to start firing.
You can correct me Tom but did they outspend Saints in the summer? And an even crazier thought, their net spend was more than Arsenal's!!
