That sort of goal can be enough to secure Reed a regular starting spot for at least the next 10 games or so.
You mean QPR that were in the premiership just 2 years ago. Playing for Norwich who were in the premiership 2 years ago. Perhaps what you mean is he wouldnt get that much space against Chelsea or Man City every game - but its good to see he knows what to do when the opportunity comes along.
Well as both teams have been relegated I think that strengthens my point. If they were playing like that in the PL, giving people that much room, they didn't get away with it. i would expect most PL teams to have closed him down.
The draw for the next round of the League Cup will take place at 11:15 am... in China. It's at 4:15 am here. I know the sponsors are Asian (albeit not Chinese) but seriously, that's ridiculous. Nice that the Football League is putting fans first for once.
We're out it, after having taken Cardiff to extra time before yet another former player scored against us.
Funny story from the weekend. Walsall fan thought he'd got himself a bargain when he booked a cheap hotel 11 miles from Pompey. Trouble was the hotel was indeed 11 miles from Pompey, but it was on the Isle of Wight....!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40986712
Lincoln has gone mad. Average attendance over 8,000. Over 6,000 season tickets sold. Mansfield at home will be a sell out on Saturday and it is likely we will then be the highest attendance overtaking Coventry who are top. And we've already sold over 2,500 for Notts County away with general sale not open until tomorrow. They've given us the whole of the away stand so 5,000+ allocation there..............and we will sell them all....yikes.
You might be better off supporting Lincoln for the season Imp, and following the Saints from a distance. Who do I support for the season besides Saints? Real Sociedad?
As the Luton fans sang last week. lol. We were all at home watching Prem streams with all the kids wearing Prem and Barcelona shirts. There are now more Lincoln shirts on the kids (whether they go to the game or not) than others put together and tickets are impossible to get. 6000 are season tickets, 1400+400 segregation are lost to the away support for teams that require a larger allocation. 250 seats have been lost for the TV/Media gantry the league insists on to sell live streams abroad leaving only a 9500 or so total. General sale for home fans therefore are scrabbling for 1500 or so tickets. And yes 1500 is the sort of crowds we were getting for some games a couple of years ago. The club copying Saints with their constant social media bombardment has been a key factor as well as doing well. Just need to keep them coming through the bad times from now on
I haven't watched any "TV" football this season. No streams, nothing. I'm cured of the Prem disease. Don't get me wrong. I still check the Saints result as soon as I get home. There will always be a link there. There are a lot of people I know however who have completely stopped supporting the Prem teams they used to support. They are tired of it all but then they were born in Lincoln and not Liverpool/Tottingham/Manchester whereas I was born in Winchester.
The Imps are up to 5th, only lost 1 game so far. Sounded a dire game on the radio last night but then a ground sat on top of a hill in gale force wins isn't going to be that pretty. Roll on the next 2 "local derbies" against Mansfield and Notts County. More blood and thunder expected and hopefully 6 more points (4 would be a good and more realistic target though.)
