This idea Hall wasn't played until he was ready is fallacious. He was brought on out of necessity vs West Ham last season following injuries to previously made subs

Hall went on to get player of the month....last season and hasn't looked back.

He's young he was always going to improve and Howes done his job..... but it's all about money and that's why he was the most expensive youth signing at around 30 million a 19.

Newcastle new they were getting a great talent.

He did improve the team by getting rid of most of them, including ASM where he reinvested the money. That's the sign of a good coach.

Keegan also had money... you cannot get anywhere without money.

Managers and coaches are nothing more than the dogs bodies employed to look after the product and some are better than others..... some lose the plot and all seem to at some point.... howe is doing a good job but he's not the magician some of out fans think... he isn't turning water into wine... the club is buying the wine in the first place.

No one thinks he's a magician, people just think he's done a very good job, which he has.

But also it's not JUST about money, the right manager is needed - look at Everton with money, Man U post Ferguson, and Chelsea with Potter and Lampard.

Howe did an excellent job massively improving some players, but no manager can turn a crock of **** into a world beater, hence GG's point about Howe not improving Hendrick, Hayden and Lewis is ludicrous.

    Nobody has said otherwise

Ahh right so when a player improves its all down to the manager and when they don't it's all down to the player.

Perhaps they were always good players and just needed a better side to play in and time.

Not a better side, they were clearly being badly mismanaged under Bruce.

The problem is your constant "some fans think Howe is a magician", no one thinks this.

Not a better side ? The side is vastly superior! You don't think playing with much better players helps ? They didn't really improve much at all until the 1st transfer window..... the improvement was huge and that was £££

There's shouldn't be any problem I'm just telling it like it is and I've also clearly credited the manager also.

The entire thread is geared at Gordon Hall and Livermento being down to Howe rather than the 120 million involved which is the key factor and anyone thinking otherwise is an ostrich.... is Howe managing well ? Yes it would appear so.

I'm really not sure what your point is.

Howe is doing well and the side has improved with new signings, but Howe clearly turned around a side that was performing dreadfully under Bruce. This wasn't all about money, as Burn and Wood were the only new signings that were playing regularly when we turned things around. Bruce also had money with the likes of Joelinton, ASM and Miggy and they were playing appallingly.

I know you don't but it's very simple.

Money is the most prominent reason for Newcastle's improvement and the manager and coaching secondary.

Both are important, but money is without a shadow of doubt the key driver. Newcastle didn't improve dramatically until after the first transfer window under the new ownership.

Newcastle are the 5th biggest net spenders of the past 5 years and have the 8th highest wage bill.

Football is a fake competition and all we see is nothing more than a soap opera. league tables are decided by player wages it's all pretty much decided before a ball is kicked every season.

It's no different to WWE we just get sucked into the stories.

Our goals are irrelevant... look at the tables vs wages and you'll see how the competition is decided.... the places may vary a little but it's clear.

It’s a good job we are the wealthiest football club in the planet then. It will take time. But eventually we will be the best.

We have the 13th most valuable squad on the planet according to transfetmarkt so we should be winning things soon.

Only if you're looking at one season and not the entire picture. As previously mentioned the order may have some slight changes here and there, but wages determine where clubs are.
