Not getting drunk or anything, but with the nights drawing in something made me fancy a rum and ginger beer.

****e selection in the local Tesco Extra @luvgonzo so, after much deliberation, ended up buying Mount Gay.
Bit insipid tbh, but the ginger beer is a let down as bought Fentimans and it's flat soon as it hits the glass.

They don't sell Old Jamaica any more it seems. Sadly.

There was a rum called Sidique by the the Penderyn lot, you tried that?

Not heard of that one. I agree though not a good selection in the supermarkets at the moment.

The Penderyn operation is moving to one of the old copper 'foundry' buildings in town. Pretty much open now.

All seems a bit 'brewed under licence' bogus to me.

Is the Penderyn one staying open do you know? Dick himself would no doubt be gutted!

Bought a bottle of Depth Charge spiced rum a few weeks back, quite nasty stuff.
Think I'll stick with the Rumbullion, worth the little extra

No idea. I'm not a massive fan of it but enjoyed the tour.

Just did the same, very funny. And a little sad that some are no longer with us.

HIAG and the invention of Daz the skullcrusher. Funny days.

Thinking about it, was only a couple of months after all that that I somehow literally bumped into the ****er in Bath.

Gawd rest his soul and all that.
