It was only cos i was working away, leaving home at 12.15 and not getting in till 11.30. My life just passed me by.
Life passes a lot of people by Comm.
We have to work to live and before you know it weeks / months have gone and you think wtf happened there <yikes>

I like my booze but rarely get drunk as I hate hangovers, I don't even like being too drunk.

There's a couple I know and the bloke drinks Strongbow and is on it all the time. When they go on holiday it's overdrive and they go ott, they get up in the morning about 9ish with a stinking hangover and start drinking again, they take dehydration medicine with them. They actually drink heavily all day and night for 2 weeks.

That's what holidays are for. I can't remember the last time I had a hangover <laugh>

Last night on the piss for me for a bit. <cheers>
Got a course of antibiotics that lasts for a fortnight and states on the packaging "mix with alcohol and you will die"

That sounds like flagyl or metranidozole.

I was prescribed that several years back. All it said on the bottle was ‘avoid alcohol’, so I thought a couple of pints can’t hurt. They should have put on the bottle ‘avoid alcohol like the ****ing plague’. I felt really rough for about 24 hours. Nauseous, chronic stomach cramps.

So, if that’s what they’ve given you, heed the advice.

I’m on Metronidazole at the minute funny enough. The pharmacist made a point of saying don’t take any alcohol but I’d not realised it was a potential death sentence lol.

I wouldn’t go that far, but then I only had a couple of pints. But the effects are pretty ****ing awful. Feels like your stomach is being tied in knots.

It’s not a problem for me tbf, as I’ve had 3 beers in 7 months lol.
