https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46294137 Chelsea Legend Didier Drogba has decided to retire from professional football at the age of 40. Drogba won 4 league titles, 4 FA Cups, 3 League Cups and a Champions League title with the Blues. He is the highest scoring foreign player for us, and the fourth highest overall, and was the first African player to score 100 Premier League goals Great career, great man. Scored some of the biggest goals in our clubs history, in FA Cup finals and of course in our Champions League final win against Bayern. Hopefully we find some sort of role at Chelsea for him, coaching maybe, if he is interested. please log in to view this image
Amazing player, and big game specialist. How fitting he scored the equaliser and kicked the final penalty in our CL win. From a long line of exceptional recent strikers, like Jimmy Floyd, Guidjohnson, Tore Andre Flo, Mark Hughes, Costa, Drogba was probably the best. He has that quality that sets some players apart, that of humility, grace, humour and a readiness to smile, but was tough as old boots on the pitch. Hope he's around the Bridge again soon.
