    That was shocking that year.
    We should have done em. But like PSG now, we were in a transitional year with half a new squad, plus we had Ranieiri in charge, who is a lovely chap, but is no Mourinho.

    I think that Moyes weirdly would be quite happy with the draw. The pressure will be off him at last for these games. No one will give him a sliver of a chance against the best team in Europe and the world. <ok>

    At this point I thoink its safe to say we are out. That way we dont get our hopes up and when we smash the germans to smithereens and progress 9-3 on agg we will be the clear favourites for the CL.

    I fail to see any other option.

    Not even after that. If we do manage through some miracle to go through, then we will meet the likes of Madrid and Barcelona. With this team I would not hold my breath.

    Real are better. Real will win the CL this season. Taken them a while and cost billions but it will be this season.
