I'm intrigued where this myth of Motherwell challenging Rangers during their 9iar has arisen. They came above celtic only twice in that time, were 8th in the league 3 times, 9th once and 10th once. And Aberdeen may have come second quite a few times but they only really pushed Rangers close twice (90-91, 93-94). The only other times Rangers were troubled during their 9iar were by us under Tommy Burns.
Surely the only thing worth posting is that probably The Dons and M'well invested legal money to build up their teams. There is no doubt Celtic's investments were legal also. Surely no normal wise person could gloat about winning whilst cheating. We all know that Rangers cheat in many ways.
What the fck is he on about today ,???after 50 years of Scotsport and Graham Spiers kept appearing on it , the Rangers fans pushed the off button and the rest is history
Newspaper circulation is not down naturally - it's because Timmy is conspiring not to buy them I'm gonna get businessmen not to advertise on Radio Clyde because it's out to get me and every other patriotic prod out there Do you think he cancelled his Sky when the JCGE advert came on? *****.
And we're the paranoid ones..... Speirs is a bit of a **** but he put a cracked Hun badge in a Scottish newspaper. They'll never forgive him for it, I'll always have a wee soft spot for him for doing it.
Curry favour It's taken Jim Traynor four years to finally admit Rangers might be in a bit of financial bother and even then his column was little more than a plea for the rest of Scottish football to go on easy on the poor bears should they go bust.
"the Herald – once the paper of choice for the business folk and professional people among the Ibrox club’s followers" That's about 5 people then?
Ah magic. Cheers Bib. I was messing about with some anagrams last night and when you rearrange David "Leggo" Leggatt, for some reason it always changes to "Pathological Liar." I tried to find something different but it just didn't work.
"McCall did of course mention that the SFA could be having their agenda set for them by a Celtic supporter inside BBC Scotland and that is a far more likely scenario". Although exactly why this scenario is "far more likely" Leggo fails to explain? "And what is also a seeming scenario, is the way the SFAâs lawyer Lunny has appeared to leap at the chance to follow in the direction BBC Scotland has pointed him". Whit? I mean, Whit? "Not everyone will take the view that lawyer Lunnyâs arrival in such a position of power at Peter Lawwellâs pal, Stewart Reganâs Scottish Football Association has been a bad thing. For instance, it is hard to imagine that Celtic chief executive Lawwell or anybody else inside Parkhead has a bad word to say about the SFAâs lawyer Lunny". Yes it must indeed be "Hard to imagine" if you are a shambling, paranoid, jakie, ex hack with more chips on his shoulder than the man who clears out the hopper at the McCoys factory. "And they are all probably pretty pleased with the bosses at BBC Scotland and the agenda they set for lawyer Lunny. A Rangers supporter? In a powerful hands-on position inside BBC Scotland? Get up to date, McCall". BBC are setting the agenda in cahoots with Lunny, it's a massive conspiracy to undermine Rangers FC. Just imagine for a moment had a Celtic fan said such a thing? What mental illness might he be accused of suffering from? The man gets better each and every day, I never tire of reading his tripe.
There's a thread on RangersMedia about yesterday's RC Radio Clyde piece. This is, at once, both hilarious and deeply worrying (with the usual thing where a dissenter is called a Timposter) http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=208817
