Back in my Follow Follow days, there was a poll in the "lounge" about religion along the lines of "Protestant, Muslim, Sihk, Catholic, Jew, Athiest" and the poll ended up with something like 10% of the polee's were Protestant, followed by Muslim then Kafflick Obviously the Atheist category won as that's how the country is going. Anyway, Bloggers and football ones at that are all attention seekers who are too stupid to be proper journalists. A damning indictment in itself. This is pretty dire stuff, no "Exclusives" whatsoever, just a long pish-stained exercise in tautology. He has even given up on Lawell being the bogey man( Perhaps when they get voted down today Leggo should take a sabbatical and start on another potboiler of a book to unleash on an unsuspecting readership (available through Amazon), or maybe he "is tired", it would certainly explain his blog.
Leggo did used to post on 606 under the confusing name "Leggoland". The particular blog I read which was retweeted by Chris Graham, John Gow et al was called "The sash we never sung" - it was by a Rangers fan who was brought up supporting a Fife team and, as an explanation of why teams are hardened against Rangers position just now was an absolute portrait of backwards logic. Bloggers have quite an effect on your average fan these days. It's the only explanation I can come up with for why you keep hearing about "bigotry" being the reason for teams and their fans not liking Rangers. Disliking the OO, for example, isn't bigoted. Disliking the BNP isn't racist. Disliking Rangers isn't bigoted. However, (some of) the followers of these institutions would have you believe that it is so.
What I don't get in all of this is (and this is not exclusive to Leggo - a quick swatch at Twitter will see this view repeated hundreds of times) is the assertion that Lawell controls Regan in some way. How on Earth can Regan be of more influence than, say, Campbell Og? Leggo's right in that this whole thing can be an utter carve-up if "sanctions" are put on New Rangers - quite why he thinks Lawell is behind it is beyond me.
Leggo's use of the word 'bigot' just basically means anyone who does not agree with him, is a Royalist and a staunch Presbyterian. Theres effing loads of bigots out there.
A classic case of needing psychiatric treatment for his disturbed state of denial at what's going to happen to the remnants of his beloved Newco.
