Responses to his latest blog on FF:

Another very poor article, in the second line he asks do D&P have long term interests of Rangers in mind, well the real answer to that is no.
They have a duty to creditors principally. This brings Craig Whyte and HMRC into play as the main players.
I don't what needs to happen for Leggo to understand this and stop embarrassing himself time and again. Sometimes I think he should give it up and just stalk Odious on a permanent basis.

Times like this when we need a little bit of intelligence from those who represent us. Unfortunately that seems to be in shorter supply than hard cash from our fans at the moment.

This is the truth and you know it, despite the predictable responses I will no doubt get from this post. I could almost write them actually.

    -----

Sadly since 25th March, Leggo's comments regarding the potential buyers have been nothing short of cheerleading for TBK and rubbishing the other bidders.

Much like the debate on independence, I would like the full facts regarding long-term viability and vision, and not just the propaganda!

    -----

Used to enjoy Leggo blogs but recently they have been very poor, beginning to come across very amateurish now and unless it's pro BKs he won't entertain any other opinion

    -----

I'm not going to read anything into that, as Leggo was the man who said Whtye would save us. I will wait and see, who gets the bid, and what their plans are from there.

    -----

usually enjoy most of his blogs but he has now descended into a bk good all others bad orwellian mantra,

    -----

He also appears to have trademarked the name of Murray's consortium as the "True Blue Knights!" (his exclamation mark, not mine.) Hideously embarrassing.

C'mon Leggo. We know you spent much of your career with gutter rags but you don't have to write as if you're still employed by one.

    -----

bit of scaremongering tbh...he knows that in a newco we will not lose our history, and in any case if as we all have commented on that we go into the 3rd div, then the likes of greegs, naismith davis etc would be going anyway.....leggo needs to lighten up a bit as we are getting immune to this.

    -----

Seems even the Rangers fans are starting to see beyond Leggo's gibberish.

I think you are doing a disservice to the first person you quoted ST. Lumping him/her/it in with the rest of them is a bit unfair.

RANGERS NOW ON BRINK OF OBLIVION

DUFF and PHELPS have placed the very existence of Rangers in danger by the delaying tactics of “Dilly and Dally”, Paul Clark and David Whitehouse.

That may sound overblown and dramatic. But it is true.

Rangers are now in serious jeopardy and they could even DISAPPEAR!

That danger is now becoming obvious as the days have dragged on into weeks and then months, with Duff and Phelps failing to do their jobs, pushing Rangers from one crisis to another.

Now there is a growing concern that Duff and Phelps are a struggling to cope and that they are no more than….

    THIRD DIVISION ACCOUNTANTS!

That Paul Clark and David Whitehouse, the Duff and Phelps Two, ”Dilly and Dally,” are professionally way out of their depth and their bumbling indecision is pushing Rangers towards….

    OBLIVION!

Forget all the fancy dan language and legalese in which their statements are framed. That’s an old trick and they are just using words to attempt to bamboozle people and hide behind them, as, in my experience, incompetents often do. (like you?)

How many more times will “Dilly and Dally” the Duff and Phelps Two, Clark and Whitehouse, announce a final and binding date, only to bottle it and use delaying tactics?

At the moment the only thing which is final is the indecision of the Duff and Phelps Two. The only thing which is certain is the indecision of the Duff and Phelps Two. The only thing which is clear is the indecision of “Dilly and Dally.” (Dilly and Dally was not funny first time around and it gets no funnier with repeated mentions)

Remember this pathetic pair asked for bids to be in by March 16, more than a month after they took control of Rangers. We are now a further month on. It is now eleven days since they then said was the deadline for final bids, with the clear indication that they would name their preferred bidder in, at most, a week.

Then, as that seven day time frame expired on Friday the 13[SUP]th[/SUP], a day of infamy for the Duff and Phelps Two, they got stage fright again, indecision gripped them once more and they stalled once more.

Only this time they LIED as to what their reason for the latest poor performance from Duff and Phelps was. They said ALL three bidders were demanding face to face talks with the Scottish Premier League.

    NOT TRUE!

Paul Murray and his True Blue Knights did nothing of the sort. They know that as far as their plans are concerned, the SPL proposals don’t mean a thing. Paul Murray and the True Blue Knights will NOT plunge Rangers into liquidation.(oh dear, sounds like leggo has Paul Murray or one of his underlings on speed dial)

What they will do, if they gain the keys to the Blue Room, is lift Rangers out of administration, hand a budget to Alastair McCoist, which will allow him to start the vital team rebuilding process. (Sheer fantasy)

Paul Murray and the True Blue Knights will also make it a priority to renegotiate the contracts of those star players who are key to the Rangers’ future and who took a 75per cent wage cut in return for being allowed to leave at a cut price fee.

Remember, the Duff and Phelps Two were quick enough off the mark in that situation. Maybe that had something to do with the £4M that those players’ wages cuts saved, funding the administration process. It has effectively paid the Duff and Phelps bill. (Yes that seems perfectly logical until you think it through, would D&P not have saved even more money by simply making top earners redundant?)

As the Duff and Phelps Two continue to drag their feet, as they continue to play the roles of “Dilly and Dally,” (again with the Dilly and Dally) the pressure mounts on manager Alastair McCoist. And it must be causing him sleepless nights.

Only a fool would not be extremely concerned for the strength of the playing squad which will be available to Rangers next season. And one thing Alastair McCoist most certainly is not, is that. (Grammar breakdown)

He was always a bright young man and he has grown into an extremely shrewd older man, an eager and quick learner who has been schooled in the ways of management by that wiliest of all wily old foxes, Walter Smith. <laugh> Seriously?

But that is to say that there will be a Rangers still there for McCoist to worry about next season.(eh?)

For the chances of OBLIVION are now increasing with every day which passes during which “Dilly and Dally” delay. With every day during which the Duff and Phelps Two’s indecision increases. An indecision which could have a huge impact on the fundamental issue of Rangers rebuilding the team for next season. At best.

But which, at worst, now threatens to utterly destroy the very fabric of the club, to such an extreme extent that Rangers are sent not just into liquidation, but hurtling towards….

    OBLIVION!

In blunt terms, it is time for Duff and Phelps, for the Duff and Phelps Two, Paul Clark and David Whitehouse, “Dilly and Dally” to s**t or get off the pot

My money is on all this stalling being down to fudd & felch being up **** creek because none of the bids for the huns adds up to as much as what the creditors will get if they just liquidate and sell off assets such as ibrox, murray park, etc,etc

"Assaulted by a Neil Lennon, Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell will not condemn, who Celtic owner Dermot Desmond continues to allow Celtic to be shamed by and a Scottish Football Association, led by Lawwell’s pal, Stewart Regan, which seems to be running scared to taking proper hard line action against Neil Lennon."

I won't be preached to by Rangers fans in general but when Leggo starts telling me how I feel then I can only pity the poor intolerant bigoted prick.

That's the funniest rant I've read in ages. Alan Wells? Could he not think of anyone more contemporary like Carl Lewis or Ben Johnson?

Cheers ST <laugh> it didn't disappoint.

I imagine the next few days will be more of the same ramblings, where he doesn't seem to comprehend that the administrators are not there to please the fans.

A surprising amount of fans don't comprehend that. That Whyte appointed D&F does not help their comprehension.

As you say, it is not the administrators job to please the fans but to recoup as much money as they can for creditors. In my view D&P have been pretty awful at this so far but as the Whyte Shyte appointed them I can only imagine that they are poker players from the top drawer?? If it's true what D&P are costing a week then I suspect this may be the case. Maybe Whyte is one of their shareholders:eek:)

How the huns can have a go at Ticketus beggars beleif "aye we'll cut what you owe us (so we do get something at the end of the day not years down the line), what's that? You want half a mil up front from us so bolster the True Blue Knights (copyright Leggo) bid for the club??? Aye, no bother here you go?"...delusional.
