Had a look on the Irish Sunday World website to see if I could find out what OâRourke said but all I found was a link to the twitter feed and a cracking header which advertised the fact that Charlie Nick was one of their Columnists, and I kid you not he was described as âThe World's Number One Soccer Punditâ Incidentally, here is the twitter feed which Leggo was on about, Iâm guessing that âIan James Wilsonâsâ original comment is tongue in cheek as Leggo makes no mention of it, and although I am no fan of OâRourke personally (I think heâs a fool) I suspect his comment was likewise tongue in cheek, even if it was stupid. please log in to view this image
I think the point O'Rourke was really making was that no kafflicks were allowed to work on the Titanic because they were, erm, kafflick. I don't know if this is true or not but it explains the 'joke'.
I'll expect a medrothread later. He tweeted "brilliant, the only problem is, the ones who built it didn’t sail on it.” That's all that he tweeted - the Scottish Sun has a bit on it and a google search returned this belting announcement from the Fandanguard Bares. Remember, the guy who wrote this is called "Hokey Cokey" and it appears on arguably the most bigoted site on the net. Don't know if anyone saw Julian Fellowes Titanic this Sunday (written by a Tory peer who married the Duchess of Kent's Lady-in-waiting for those who are interested) but it didn't portray the folk protesting at a papist being allowed to work in the yard as particularly nice people - I would suggest that they were products of their upbringing - like Medro, in fact.
This guy was actually a journalist at some point. I was putting it down to whiskey previously, now I am thinking it is syphilis.
I think they'd be better placed becoming Stoppit and Tidyup. I would love the Ticketus story from yesterday to be bullshit. Dingwall posted a massive thing about it yesterday, apparently, and this fud has taken to calling Paul Murray "Merlin" (wasn't Merlin a Welsh Celt?) because of it To paraphrase Keegan, "I'd love it if it slapped them on the arse, love it."
Do you think Leggo is even aware of the Big Tax Case? It's just I've never seen any reference to it in any of his inane ramblings. Is he really that stupid to believe that if the BK's take over that Rangers will be back stronger next year?
"Especially, when top of the list for Paul Murray and his Rangers supporting True Blue Knights will be giving absolute priority to strengthening the squad of players". If they are then they have their priorities all wrong I would hazard.
Does this idiot seriously believe that if the BK's are successful then it will be business as usual next season? Good ****in grief.
Radio Clyde should get this Leggo **** on Superscorebored. It would at least make it entertaining listening to guy having his nervous breakdown live on air.
A guy in my work is one of those regular callers that come on and state the same ****e every week and use big words they don't understand. I'll get him to ask Jim and Hugh.
Seed is planted. He thought it'd be a good idea if clyde could get both Leggo and Phil Mcgoila....macgulla....the celtic blogger guy on at the same time so next time's he's on - he'll ask.
This would be plane crash radio. You're more likely to get a grown-up debate eventually reaching consensus between Abu Hamza and Nick Griffin.
Brian Kennedy will never take over Rangers. His name is too papist and Rangers Manager could no longer quote a "papist sounding name" as a reason for an assistant giving a decision against them. Rangers fans would become all confused and wouldn't know how to spray their hatred. Far too complicated.
just read the Joe O'Rourke thing. I got one line in and thought.... I bet this is bullshit. Sure enough. ST didn't have to know that to .....erm.... know that.
