How can this car-crash of a man complain? After all, is Whyte not a "poker player from the top drawer"?? Do they do and awards for journalism that can be voted on by the public? If not maybe he would have to rely on his peers (however, in the journalistic world, I fear he is peerless) Leggend is up there with the Watergate boys.
Le grande maison devriez rester ouvert ! ( probably wrong, dont bother to correct me francophile fandans )
ehh....possibly...hopefully..maybe, sorta sounds good though, Im coming over to" the greatest little country" in november, I was thinking of popping into the Louden Tavern and announcing it..
Apart from the usual, insidious, threatening language towards the chaps from D&P, this isn't too bad. For Leggo. Still nuttier than a squirrel's bawsack mind.
Yep, Leggo's warning everyone to dive for cover if they put Rangers into Liquidation, the thing is I don't think anyone really has a choice, it was always likely once Whytey rode into town.
A wee lie there from Leggo. What actually happened is that one of the arseholes from the Rangers working group shouted to Regan that he was in bed with Celtic and Peter Lawwell. It was this, having endured similar underhand comments previously, that caused him to call a halt to the meeting. Still, it's always rather convenient to miss such facts out when reporting stories. I'm surprised the Daily Record don't offer you a job Leggo or are even they not that desperate?
Just out of curiosity I had a wee look at Waddell's latest drivel and his main item is about Old Firm fans, particularly huns, having a go at Stewart Regan for being biased. Way to go Leggo. Cite a 'journalist' for printing the opposite of yourself
Yes I read Wadddell's drivel too, he has a go at the RFWG and then drags Celtic into the debate just to even things up.
Reading that, it appears as though Leggo thinks that Regan is investigating ebt's and not the ramifications of what that means with regards to dual contracts. He must know that the "THREE learned judges, all of them tax experts" give less than 1/24th of a **** about SPL rules. If he doesn't he is as dumb as I think he is, if he does then he is as disingenuous as I think he is.
What mystifies me is how Leggo managed to hold down a job as a hack for so long. By and large (with notable exceptions) they tend to be fairly intelligent but Leggo is as stupid as they come, his posts are evidence of his intolerance and inability to see both sides of a story and his grammar, spelling and sentence structure are truly appalling. It's no wonder no one will emply him but he seems to have somehow retained his press card which allows him entrance to (some) press conferences. In reality he is a bigoted wreck, the archetypal "hun" of legend who truly does see everthing through blue-tinted glasses. If every Rangers fan was even 50% as bad as he is I would have no problem hating Rangers as much as he hates Celtic, fortunately he is a throwback to the bad old days and his type are no longer tolerated or employed by the main stream media.
A statement by the RFWG: Rangers RSS Feed Stewart Regan, the Chief Executive of the SFA, disgracefully walked out of a meeting with the Rangers Fans' Working Group at Hampden yesterday. Mr Regan was being closely questioned about the lack of practical help the SFA was rendering to one of its member clubs in administration. Earlier in the meeting he had twice threatened to walk out when his point of view was being challenged. The meeting with Mr Regan fell into two distinct parts. The first was to discuss the mechanisms for ensuring that the record of good behaviour by Rangers fans was encouraged by the implementation of standards and good practice across the board in Scottish football. The second was specifically to do with the treatment of Rangers whilst the club is in administration. It was put to Mr Regan that whilst the club is effectively decapitated during administration it was unfair that quasi-judicial proceedings were being undertaken when no new owners were in place and the firm of administrators in charge were unlikely to have the knowledge or commitment to ensure a vigorous defence of the club’s long-term interests. Similarly, it was noted that there was a widespread feeling amongst the Rangers support that the SFA administration was not impartial and that any sanctions taken against the club at this time were likely to be perceived as unfair. The Fans Working Group consider that our concerns were put forward in a sensible and helpful manner and are therefore both shocked and disappointed that Mr Regan chose to behave in such an unprofessional manner. From their own mouths, they accused the SFA of bias.
Phil is the same for sentence construction, syntax and spelling......but there the comparison ends. There is no yang to the Ying of Leggo. There must have been a time where he a least had the skills to hunt a story? I genuinely don't know. Also, I don't know what is worse, a clearly bigoted media, or a completely neutered one. I am happy that Celtic supporters have taken control of our own media output, or at least taken control of what we chose to listen to....That said, an effective impartial fourth estate is vital to keep ****s in check.
I feel that Leggo is not cutting to the point here. His written incontinence is starting to rival his physical one. I am awaiting his great revelation but fear we may never see it. The "True Blue Knights" does make me chuckle. No mention of Odious Creep, they must have met up in Kelvingrove Park.
I just want to quote this pearler of an opener from yesterday: Today's offering is proper doublethink gibberish - the guy's in danger of thinking up a conspiracy which is counter-conspiritorial to the original conspiracy he suspects.
