Sometimes you might try and empathise with people and try and see the world from their point of view. If you try that with this ****er, your head would explode.

He is proper mental.

I've just read the one from the 22nd where he said that Alex Thomson is in cahoots with Mark Daly, the man with an anti-rangers chip in his shoulder. I'm assuming that that is the same Mark Daly that got a round of applause from the rangers fans on the five live thing on Monday night.

TRUE BLUE KNIGHTS ARE SIMPLY THE BEST

WHEN it comes right down to the very nub of the issue, to the very basic question as to who Rangers supporters can trust to be the new custodians of their beleaguered club, there can surely only be one answer.

Paul Murray and the Blue Knights.

For this consortium are real Rangers men. More like Paul Murray and the True Blue Knights. And as well as all of the people who are involved being Rangers men, they are sound, competent and reputable people who are good corporate citizens.

Proper people!

And they are more. For my information is that the True Blue Knights, if they win their fight to rescue Rangers, have plans to defend Rangers from the clubâs many and increasingly confident enemies. (Just like Craig Whyte was going to do when you gave him your full backing last year?)

Just the way those supporters long wanted David Murray to defend Rangers. David, however, never did that.

The True Blue Knights will make sure they have the people in place who wonât stand any old nonsense from the Scottish Football Association of Stewart Regan and his Hampden boardroom pal, Celtic chief executive, Peter Lawwell. (And there was me thinking Campbell Ogilvie was in charge of the SFA)

Or from the Scottish Premier League board, which includes Lawwellâs lapdog, Celticâs Â£220,000-a-year director, Eric Riley and Parkhead pal, Stephen Thompson, the Dundee United chairman. (Neil Doncaster anyone?)

Paul Murray and the True Blue Knights are already drawing up a Bluenose Bluerprint to put people in place to take the fight to the SFA and SPL and to use their influence in high places within UEFA too. (UEFA must be ****ting themselves!)

On top of which, Paul Murray and the True Blue Knights will be lining up the best legal brains money can buy to ensure that never again will the SPL be allowed to get away with hiring Celticâs lawyers, Macleod and Harper, to investigate Rangers. (They're just lawyers David, not Celtic's lawyers - you clearly drink a lot of Tennents. It doesn't mean they belong to you)

The True Blue Knights have already revealed that former manager, Walter Smith â the greatest Ranger of the last quarter of a century â will be invited to join the Ibrox board. An announcement Paul Murray would not have made without first consulting Smith.

But even that is just the tip of the iceberg of the schemes being discussed by some of the other True Blue Knights. (Casino? Five star hotel?)

Most of the True Blue Knights are polite, well behaved businessmen who, like Paul Murray, are good corporate citizens. But none of those qualities make them pushovers.

While another True Blue Knight, Douglas Park, is well known as a man nobody has ever got away with pushing around. My bet is that True Blue Knight, Park will make some waves.

Of course all of this â all of the plans the Tue Blue Knights have for making sure Rangers are no longer a soft target for their enemies â remains dependent on them, with the legions of Ibrox fans helping â winning control.

And that is dependent on administrators, Duff and Phelps and the Duff and Phelps Two, Brian Clark and David Whitehouse, who now seem to be prepared to go to bizarre lengths in their apparent desperate struggle to stop the real Rangers supporters, Paul Murray and the True Blue Knights, getting control of Rangers.

They have, to my certain knowledge, appeared to give private press briefings against Paul Murray. Perhaps they did not understand that after three years as Rangers director he has no need to ask them some of the basic questions about the club other interested parties have to pose. (Such as did we give players two contracts?)

Paul Murray and - by dint of his association with them â the True Blue Knights already know the answers. (Erm, well this is awkward)

Which brings us to Hibernian supporter Brian Kennedy, who has been briefing for all heâs worth in the last few days trying to find some sort of tenuous link between him and Rangers.

The Scottish Daily Mail, which seems in the main, hostile to the Paul Murray-True Blue Knights, appears to many sound observers, to be Kennedyâs chosen vehicle for these briefings.

That suspicion was added to, by the way the Lord Hodge advice from the Court of Session on Duff and Phelpsâ bid to breach the Â£24M contract between Ticketus and Rangers, was presented in Saturdayâs Scottish Daily Mail by John Greechan. (Greechan? Sounds like Greek. They invented bumming you know. Not very WASP)

Odious Creepâs pal, Greechan has often seemed to be in any camp which is opposed to what is good for Rangers and it is a charge which many may feel they can level against him again. (Hallelujah, Odious Creep gets a mention!)

Just as many may feel a similar charge can be leveled against the Duff and Phelps Two, Clark and Whitehouse, especially after their bizarre reaction to Lord Hodgeâs carefully phrased warning words about breaching the Â£24M contract.

According to Paul Clark, Duff and Phelps will just go right ahead and breach the contract should they feel like it. They did not add what they believe the Ticketus reaction to such a high handed action would be.

Though I am sure any competent Scottish lawyer would tell them, as one will no doubt tell Ticketus, that Ticketus will launch an action, tying up Rangers in the courts for months and maybe even years. With the first move being for Ticketus to apply to freeze Â£24M of Rangers assets. (By Jove, he's catching on!)

So, nobody would be able to buy Rangers if that happens. Leaving Duff and Phelps still in charge and still absolutely raking in big bucks from Rangers.

The way the Duff and Phelps Two, Clark and Whitehouse have been working means their company has already banked well over ONE MILLIONâ¦and rising.

Remember too, that David Grier, who helped conman Craig Whyte push through his dodgy deal to buy Rangers for a quid, is a senior partner with Duff and Phelps and is therefore benefiting financially from Rangers.

People may ask if this as anything to do with the way the Duff and Phelps Two, Clark and Whitehouse have allegedly briefed against Paul Murray and present the appearance of doing everything possible to thwart the True Blue Knights?

I, of course, couldnât possibly comment. (No, you just hint at it in your usual insidious manner)

People may also ask just why Brian Kennedy wants to buy Rangers. Does he, some wonder out loud, think he can get them on the cheap and then sell them on as soon as possible and make a fast buck? (That's what I would do)

On that I can comment. I believe it is the only reason Hibernian supporter Kennedy wants to buy Rangers. But Iâve been told the best way for Kennedy to make a quick killing would be to take over and then plunge Rangers into liquidation.

The other bidders are the Americans from Sport 9. The same would apply to the motives of this Chicago Mob. (The Mafia )

Which leaves Paul Murray and the True Blue Knights as the only people with a True Blue Blueprint to save Rangers. To restore the clubâs tattered and battered honour with the sort of stewardship which would include supporters and go a long way to returning Rangers to their traditions, restoring the heritage of the Gallant Pioneers. (You mean not signing Catholics and playing on a cooncil park?)

Plus bringing in people capable, willing and able to go head-to-head with the many enemies of Rangers in the media, the Scottish Football Association and the Scottish Premier League. (You make Eddie sound sane)

It is interesting to observe those media outlets and those who work for them, who seek to skewer their coverage of this story in such a way as to make any bidders, other than the Rangers supporting Paul Murray and the True Blue Knights, appear a better option for Rangers.

Interesting too, to question what motives they, along with Duff and Phelps, have.

For the nub of the question, the very core of the argument, is who do Rangers fans want to see entrusted with the stewardship of their club? A Hibernian supporter, seemingly out to make a quick buck, which may involve liquidation? (So that's a certainty then?)

The Chicago Mob, who may go down that same liquidation path? (If you can't trust the Mafia, who can you trust?)

Or Paul Murray and the True Blue Knights Rangers men, all!

The answer is surely pretty straightforward. (Just like it was last year when you hailed Craig Whyte as the saviour of Rangers?)

CHANNEL 4 THOMSON'S SCRIPTS "WRITTEN" BY ODIOUS CREEP- Exclusive

JUST what kind of journalist is Channel Four News correspondent Alexander James Thomson?

I pose the question after Thomson rendered every journalist in Scotland a suspect by launching astonishing allegation on his Channel Four Blog, claiming that he has been directly threatened with physical assault by a Scottish journalist.

But he made the wild allegation without giving any indication whatsoever that he has a shred of verifiable evidence to substantiate this almost unprecedented allegation.

I say ALMOST, because I see he has been out on the booze with Odious Creep and that is the sort of tactic Creep has tried on once before, until M’Learned friends became involved and he quickly backed down.

What Thomson’s wild and totally unsubstantiated claims actually do, is call into question the validity of not just how he is reporting this story about Rangers for Channel Four, but also the validity of everything he has had taken on trust by viewers when he reported from Sarajevo, Mogadishu, Kabul, Islamabad, Tripoli and Baghdad.

What claims has he made from any, or all, of those hotspots which were unsubstantiated? What lines has Alexander James Thomson fed the British public without a shred of evidence to support them.

If, as he claims, Thomson was subjected to a direct physical threat from a Scottish journalist, why didn’t immediately report it to Strathclyde police?

Or does he believe the polis are also part of some weird anti-Celtic, pro-Rangers conspiracy.

If he does, then he has clearly been spending too much time talking to Philmacgiollbhain. Or maybe he’s even been in touch with the Green Brigade’s Celtic Trust spokeswoman, Jeanette Findlay who says the Scottish National Party’s new anti sectarian and anti hate laws were rushed through as a way to get at Celtic.

Honest, that’s what she said.

What we do know for certain that is of all the good, honest, insightful and hardworking journalists, either boots on the ground reporters, or experienced and watchful columnists, working for a wide range of newspapers, Alexander James Thomson chose to speak to one who is not working for any paper and who is well known for harbouring a hatred of Rangers, Celtic’s very own useful idiot, Odious Creep.

And not long after Alexander James Thomson and Odious Creep spent an evening on the booze, the Channel Four man came out with accusations, aimed at a journalist which bear a striking similarity to ones which Odious Creep once made. And which, like Creep’s, lack any evidence.

Unless, of course, Alexander James Thomson HAS reported a threat. I await any developments, such as a journalist being arrested, questioned, charged, found guilty in court and dealt with.

It seemed amazing to me that Thomson, who has admitted he knows nothing about the Scottish media, Scottish society and Scottish football, should exchange Twitters with with IRA supporter Philmacgiollabhain, get endorsed by extremist Celtic activist Matt McGlone, go out on the batter with Odious Creep and then say he is investigating an unhealthy relationship between Rangers and the Scottish media.

INVESTIGATING?

Do me a favour.

Perhaps he should investigate the relationship which exists between the Scottish media and one club, where a very senior employee’s son was thrown out of a bar for singing IRA songs at his firm’s Christmas bash and subsequently lost his job, a story which appeared nowhere.

Didn’t Odious Creep tell Thomson that one? Was Thomson not interested? Or is Odious Creep just about the only sports journalist in Scotland who is not aware of that tale?

That would not surprise me. For the man Alexander James Thomson chose as his prime source of information about the relationship between Rangers and the media, Odious Creep, is perhaps the least informed, most slothful and seriously unprofessional hack who has ever pulled the wool over the eyes of a succession of easily conned editors and television and radio producers and directors.

Which takes me back to where I came in, asking just what sort of journalist is Alexander James Thomson of Channel Four News?

One like Odious Creep, perhaps?

PARKHEAD IS THE PLACE WHICH TELLS WHAT KIND OF COUNTRY SCOTLAND IS

THE last time anyone was attacked in the directors’ box at an Old Firm game it was Donald Findlay QC ……and the venue was

PARKHEAD!

Findlay QC was unlucky, because the hail of missiles which rained down on the Parkhead directors’ box that day, although they came from Celtic supporters, were aimed at the Celtic board.

Maybe the so called Celtic’s security, of which Ronnie Hawthorn is head, should have recalled that before handing out the ill judged and totally unjustified advice to out of order Neil Lennon about there being a threat to the Celtic manager’s safety if he took a seat in the Ibrox directors’ box, after being banished from the touchline by referee Calum Murray.

There was also something fly about the way Lennon spoke about staying in the media room to watch the second half because he had been advised he would be in danger otherwise, with the added sleekit aside about that telling people what kind of country Scotland is.

The suspicion is that sly wee dig was aimed at the English reporters at his press conference, with perhaps the Daily Telegraph man, Paul Hayward a particular target. Hayward of course was flown to Seville on Dermot Desmond’s private jet.

I wonder if he slummed it on the shuttle this time, or if Celtic’s billionaire owner, Desmond, provided the transport for Hayward again?

But back to Lennon. And a wee reminder that there most certainly is one place in this country of ours where visitors have had life and limb attacked. A dark, dangerous and bigoted place, where hatred and missiles pour down from the stands in almost equal measure.

Where a visiting goalkeeper was attacked by a thug who invaded the park on the same day as those in the dear seats were chucking whatever they could get their hands on at those in the directors’ box.

Where a referee was felled by a missile and left dazed on the deck with blood streaming from a head wound.

Where a visiting captain needed stitching after he was wounded near the eye by another missile.

Where the doctor of a visiting team was hit on the hand by a coin hurled at him as he attended to an stricken player.

And where, during a Champions League match, the visiting goalkeeper was assaulted by another thug who charged onto the field in a frenzy of blazing bigoted badness.

Indeed it is easy to agree with Lennon about the state of this country when you examine and recall all of those shameful attacks which saw people’s safety really put in danger.

Would the Celtic manager like to answer where these dreadful things happened? The place which has shamed Scotland over and over and over again?

Should he feel unable to do so, then I am willing and able to be of some assistance.

PARKHEAD!

For anyone to try and fill Lennon’s head with such patent nonsense as the Ronnie Hawthorn headed Celtic security did is something else which is shameful and calls into question how Celtic’s red headed head of security can possibly work with his Ibrox counterpart in the future.

What he told Lennon was a low insult to the security arrangements put in place by the excellent Rangers head of security, David Martin, acting in co-operation with the match commander, chief superintendent Andy Bates.

What Ronnie Hawthorn's department said smacks of a similar wild, unsubstantiated and dubious allegation made by Channel Four’s increasingly bizarre Alexander James Thomson.

You know, the one about him being directly physically threatened by a Scottish journalist.

Maybe the hairbrained Hawthorn thought one of the hacks in the press gallery just in front of the directors’ box was going to leap up and launch himself at poor wee defenceless Lenny.

Priceless! Comedy Gold, indeed.

And all of it guaranteed to play and pander to the sort of lunatic element among the Celtic support, notably the IRA supporting Green Brigade, who have grown in prominence and seem to have been indulged by Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell.

There will be more on the Green Brigade and Lawwell and about more trouble which looms on the horizon for Celtic. Soon.

For the moment, had Hawthorn and Lennon really been too scared to sit near Lawwell and all the others from Celtic who were perfectly safe in the Ibrox directors’ box, I’m sure ‘Sir’ Walter would have been happy for the Celtic manager to sit next to him. If ‘Sir’ Walter couldn’t have protected the wee Ulsterman, then I’m sure ‘Lady’ Ethel would have.

Remember, Lennon has had no problems from Rangers fans on previous visits to Ibrox when, as Celtic manager, he has gone to watch Rangers play. Unlike Paul Le Guen, who was spat on by Celtic supporters after he left a Hearts-Celtic game at Tyncesatle.

And Findlay QC, who was smacked by a missile thrown by Celtic fans when he sat in the director’ box at Parkhead.

THE reason why Paul Murray did not attend the Old Firm game was that he did not want his presence to distract from the game.

Which once again showed that this dedicated, quiet, self effacing Bluenose, the leader of the True Blue Knights, is surely a man who has the good of the club at heart and who instinctively acts in a Rangers manner.

Meanwhile Graeme Souness and the man he is backing to take over at Ibrox - with role for him promised – Brian Kennedy, were high profile spectators as Rangers ran rings round Neil Lennon’s team and tactics.

Another point about the Souness involvement. Remember the last person he introduced to Rangers and encouraged him to buy the club?

Remember how that ended?

FINALLY…….

CHANNEL Four News’ Alexander James Thomson is a curious cove. First he tells us he is exposing new aspects of the WHYTE SCANDAL and the Rangers’ story, while rubbishing the way the Scottish media have handled it.

Then he produces a report for Channel Four News which contained nothing new. No original reporting. Just a re-hash of some of the stuff that has already been reported in Scottish newspapers.

Next he claims he has suffered a direct physical threat from a Scottish journalist, without providing one shred of evidence to back his story.

And finally – so far – he claims he was at Ibrox for the Old Firm game, in the Copeland Road Stand, after buying a ticket for Â£30 from someone he met under John Greig’s statue. Which he referred to only as the statue.

But match day tickets for the Old Firm game were priced Â£42. And the Copeland Road Stand is season ticket only.

As I said, a curious cove.

LENNON IN NEW REF RANT - Exclusive

NEIL LENNON is on collision course with the Scottish Football Association after yet ANOTHER referee rant.

But this time Celtic manager Lennon has made another remark which breaches SFA Rules BEFORE the match has even taken place.

In an interview with Ronnie Culley in Tuesday’s Glasgow Evening Times, looking ahead to Sunday’s game against St Johnstone, Lennon said: “It will be nice just to be able to go and think only about a game of football – and maybe have a decent refereeing performance into the bargain.”

SFA Rule 69 expressly forbids a manager from making any public comment about any official appointed to officiate at their club’s match, prior to that fixture.

Earlier this season, Hearts boss Paulo Sergio, got into trouble with a rant about Iain Brines, who was due to take charge of the Edinburgh club’s game that weekend.

He escaped with only a censure from the SFA , because that was his first offence. Lennon, in contrast has a long history of landing himself in hot water due to a succession of critical comments about referees….usually after games.

Now he has cranked up his pressure on officials by commenting on them before games, a direct and clear breach of SFA Law 69. It now remains to be seen if Lennon, as Sergio was, is charged by the SFA.

CALUM MURRAY is a very brave man!

For he must have known that ordering Neil Lennon off at half time during Sunday’s Old Firm game would mean the might of the Celtic Establishment would come down on him like a ton of bricks.

Which, of course, it has.

Though we have not heard of any death threats, similar to the ones made against Willie Collum by Celtic thugs the previous week. Or at least, not yet.

But what referee Murray knows is that his decision may be seen inside Hampden as a direct challenge to the Stuart Regan-Peter Lawwell-Vincent Lunny Scottish Football Association axis.

And it is just that. Though that was not what Murray had in mind when he took what he deemed to be fit and proper action against Lennon.

The acid test for SFA chief executive Regan, his Hampden boardroom pal, Celtic chief executive, Peter Lawwell, along with lawyer Lunny, will be if they back referee Murray, his fourth official Iain Brines, and the two assistants on duty at Ibrox on Saturday.

Or whether they once again bottle it completely, leading to most people in Scottish football believing that the Hampden boardroom is just an extension of the Parkhead inner sanctum and that Regan would be as well handing over the keys to Lawwell.

There are already plenty of people – and not all of a blue hue – who already believe that since Regan arrived at Hampden and went scuttling across to Parkhead for a private audience with Lawwell, the relationship between Celtic and the so-called independent governing body, as well as between the two chief executives, has been far too cosy.

While some of the decisions from lawyer Lunny since he arrived, have added to the suspicions of those with suspicious natures.

There are a number of things Neil Lennon will have to explain when he appears at Hampden to answer the charges arising from what went on in the tunnel at half time at Ibrox and remarks he made after the game.

According to the Celtic manager, he will call his first team coach and Celtic spin doctor Ian Jamieson as witnesses, to attest that he did nothing wrong when confronting the officials at halftime.

Note the plural, officials. The four man team of referee, his two assistants and the fourth official, always move as a body in situations such as this and it is hard to imagine that two, three or even all four, were not within earshot of what Lennon said.

There were no doubt others in the immediate vicinity who saw and heard it all. Perhaps even a senior police officer.

Certainly the picture in yesterday’s Sun of Lennon being lectured by fourth official, Brines, included a very senior Strathclyde police officer looking on with intense interest. At that moment, did this officer believe Lennon was in danger of becoming a threat to public order?

There was also the matter of what Lennon said afterwards. He is believed that in an interview with BBC Scotland's Chris McLaughlin Lennon declared his belief that there was no way Celtic would have been allowed to win at Ibrox.

ALLOWED?

Just what did he mean by that? Are there occasions when Celtic ARE allowed to beat Rangers at Ibrox? And, if so, just who is it who allows them to do that, who would NOT allow them to do so on Sunday?

Surely we should be told?

Surely the Scottish Football Association should request that BBC Scotland supply a tape of the Lennon interview and if he did make this remark, Lennon should be told to explain in full and in great detail just what it was he actually meant?

Does lawyer Lunny check radio and television interviews with the same diligence he pores over quotes in newspapers?

To complicate matters, lawyer Lunny will also have to deal with the Celtic appeal against ref Murray’s red card for Cha. It is hard to see how the referee could have made any other decision, considering the laws of the game. Cha’s foul on Lee Wallace prevented the Rangers player reaching the ball in what would be have been a goalscoring opportunity for him. The law is clear. A red card.

Of course, we have seen lawyer Lunny in action before, making decisions which overturn those made by referees. So who knows what will happen with this ‘un.

And so to Willie Collum, subjected to death threats by Celtic supporters after he quite correctly refused Celtic’s penalty claims in the fourth minute of added time during their Scottish League Cup Final defeat by Kilmarnock.

Lawyer Lunny was a bit slow to move on that one, only getting his act together after LeggoLand highlighted the fact that Lennon had accused Religious Instruction teacher and devout Christian, Collum, of a criminal act.

There are many who may believe that lawyer Lunny may find a legal loophole through which Lennon can perform another great escape from justice at the hands of the Regan-Lawwell Scottish Football Association.

A final point. If Lennon has legal representation, will it be Macleod Harper? You know, the Celtic lawyers. You know, the Celtic lawyers who the Scottish Premier League – on whose board Lawwell’s lapdog, Celtic’s Â£220,000-a-year director, Eric Riley sits – have employed to investigate Rangers.

Cabal? Did someone mention, cabal?

No wonder many believe Calum Murray is a very brave man.

A couple of journalist chums had a chuckle with me when they drew my attention to some Odious Creep followers who were making snide remarks about my syntax.

I say they are followers of Odious Creep, as that is a tired tactic he has used in the past, therefore all they are doing is following in their leader’s footsteps.

Certainly the picture in yesterday’s Sun of Lennon being lectured by fourth official, Brines, included a very senior Strathclyde police officer looking on with intense interest. At that moment, did this officer believe Lennon was in danger of becoming a threat to public order?

I know a Tim polis and I spoke to him last night via the magic of private messages on a social network site.

One of his colleagues (a fellow tim) was one of the polis in the tunnel at half-time.
From the horse's mouth, Lennon's version of events is correct, he didn't raise his voice at the officials or swear - the polis were waiting for Lennon to come out in the second half (there was to be three times the amount of polis cover for the Celtic dugout than for a normal game - an extra two polis than is usually even used for Old Firm games).

The polis were not informed that Lennon had been sent off by the officials - a member of the security staff told them after the polis in question asked where Lennon was as the teams came out.

Funny how he conveniently misses out what it was that Paulo said. For anyone interested he said that Brines should take a lie detector test. He also said "I am not happy to have him at Hearts games, I'm sorry."

These Rangers fans are simply bigots who hate Neil Lennon.
