Here's where I let the cat's heid (but not the whole cat) out the bag - I've got a contact inside Ibrox (his initials are **(edit - I'm no even telling you that) - he's not a player, saying nothing more) and the consensus when I spoke to him last night was that the "Fit & Proper Person" thing was dragged by the SFA - not to hinder Rangers but to cut them some slack and yesterday's rammed through announcement was to ensure that any Newco formed cannot be run by Whyte (it was done yesterday in case they liquidate today).

I've also heard that the administrators are "taking the piss".

Every day they've been negotiating and then coming back with the same offers they had at the start of the previous day, writing off any negotiations from the previous day.

One of the sticking blocks has been that a couple of the players on 75% proposed cuts are only on slightly more than some of the 50% proposed ones - which means that they'll take a massive hit while others take a disproportionate one.

What Mr Leggat shows today in his weird blustering attempt to pin ANYTHING on Lawell is that he's entirely missing the point - the SFA did drag their heals about the investigation but they did it in record time when it came to it to protect a Rangers Newco being owned by Whyte.

In truth, they might have saved them from oblivion, yesterday

A boy I went to school with looks like Lennon these days. He was rake thin with big NHS specs when we were teenagers as well.

16 months in jail for £125k.

Seems like a bargain to me, that's a £93k a year salary.

 

I couldn't believe he'd tried that.

I remember him being so stupid that he asked a teacher what "Foor" meant, everyone was confused. The teacher is also looking confused "What is 'foor'"
