    Might have been. Marius was a famous family name in Rome. One of the Marius's was Caesar's mentor, he modernised Rome's army at the time. Hugely important in Rome becoming powerful. Fought against Sulla (who wanted to be lifetime dictator before Caesar).

    If you could travel with a constant acceleration of 1g it would take a year to reach light speed, and you would have travelled 4,500,000,000 km's. (although, theoretically it's only possible to reach 99.9999999% with an object of non zero mass)
