As far as I know, it's not been derailed. I won't be having a skinful before the match, although I will be in Wetherspoons at 9.30 am before I get the train. Ginger is meant to be neanderthal or something. I was listening to a genetist and they were explaining that these variant are merely an absense of melatonin. It is a nice thought that if people stay long enough in south africa they''ll grow pigments back isn't it... blue eyes are recessive gene, i think green are next maybe and then brown is dominant... I think if we get a ginge and a blonde and force breed them for enough kids we could find out.... eg. a blonde should maybe have just a pair of blond genes while the ginge might have the dreaded ginger gene and a blond gene... that might not explain all the blonde in eastern europe mind..... if ginger therefore is truly recessive surely we can breed the thing out cos its very bloody persistant.
I'm clean shaven - can't abide ****ing beards. I think the auburn comes from my ex-wife's semi-Dutchness. She has relatives over there with the same colour hair. My eldest daughter has light brown hair.
This Sunday is the beginning of the end for our legendary No. 23 we all know that Jamie Carragher will retire at the end of the season, Sunday will be a landmark for him as he lines up against Everton for the final time. Carragher will be playing in his 30th derby, a game he regards as the most important league fixture even above the Manchester United games, this passion may well stem from him being a boyhood Evertonian and maybe wanting to make amends for this error in judgement that is now regarded as simple misguidance and an innocent mistake made by a young lad. (That last statement may only be true if you are a Liverpool supporter.) On Sunday there will be a rousing rendition of "A Team of Carraghers" as we say farewell to a true Liverpool legend, yes I know there is another home game against QPR but this is the game where Anfield will sing out his name knowing that he will never take to that pitch against Everton again, never again will we see that blood and thunder performance where losing is not worth thinking about where local pride is at stake. I really hope that we win this one for Carra so that he can look back and remember 1 more great moment in what has been a fantastic career.
Tis a strange issue this one. Carra isn't a ginge, is he? Me, and my two boys are (or were in my case) blondes, although my hair is now a mousy colour and quite thin on top. My daughter has auburn hair too - from my other half's side of the family - her nan had auburn hair... But seriously, Ginge is recessive to Blonde...
You took your time. Right, I'll be sensible. I'm very happy I'll be there in person to witness it I was there for his testimonial and that was hugely enjoyable. That was the last 'Derby' I've been at for about 7 years, so Sunday will be special. At every Derby I've been to, LFC have won. I hope the trend continues
