Missed the game yesterday.

Just curious how the defence played? Mainly Wilson (kelvin) and Loovens?

And wondered why is Loovens being picked? Whats up with Big Dan or Mulgrew? They injured? Or does Lenny not See Dan and Wilson together?

Thoughts on those who saw it?

Also heard Ki played well? Thought he had a good spell in the side before going to play for Korea when he got a run and also again towards the end of the season - same thing - a wee run and form. thoughts on his overall performance? I think he ca go on to be a smashing player
 
They just about managed to stay awake, not tested and superbly well protected by the midfield but we won't usualy play with 3 central midfielders.
 
I thought Wilson and Loovens handled the danger that came their way magnificently.
I don't think Dan and Wilson can be a partnership.
Rogne or big Charlie and Loovens will all do well with Wilson in my opinion.
Commons cannot play right side midfield as Mark Wilson was often left with 2 or 3 to mark.
I think Ki helped Ledley more than Kayal helped Commons, so it will be important to get
Brown in at right sided midfield. Up front I would now, go for two from these three Commons Stokes and Hooper.
But hopefully we will get someone in.
 
I think big Dan & Wilson are the main pairing. Wilson has pace to cover big Dans once-a-game-error, Mulgrew too vulnerable under the high ball when the opposition have the right tactics and target man.

I was a big fan of young Thompson tbh, heard he had a stinker in a recent friendly mind. Stick him out on loan & see if he can develop further - not like we will make a buck on him ffs.

Rogne impressed me a few games I've seen him but had a few horror shows towards the back end of the season.

O'Dea I'd like to see be given a shout when we rotate the squad once we get going hopefully in the league, europe etc.

Lenny also said the new African kid is seen by them as a centreback rather than a midfielder so will be intresting to see what happens with him and his development in the side.

We still have Hoovield on the books too - looks like we need to ship a few out before stepping up on getting the extra 2 Lenny wants.
