In the early hours of today a crack snatch squad decended on Weston Super Mare and abducted your canary named Dave.

He is now being held in a safe house near Sunderland and if the Mackems dont win tomorrow he will be fed to the crowd wearing a Martin O'Neill mask.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED?

He's been marinating in single malt for the past few years. You might want to add a bit of lime or another citrus to cut through that otherwise it might be a bit over-powering. Really you want Dave to be the hero of that dish.

You should tell Dave that the Budgies play in green and yellow these days, last time he attended a match they played in blue and white...

;)

Good win today, Welly. Can you make your usual 14th this season, or is that a step too far?

Do look after Dave. He tends to hyperventilate when we win, so be prepared as this is likely to happen.

Just have oxygen available, that's all I'm saying.

is this "crack snatch squad" entirely female then Stephen?

can we have Dave back now. as you will have seen, we did our best. we bribed the ref and linos to let Sunderland win but somehow they messed up with all things in their favour.

<laugh> That's brilliant. Rep for that.

Dave is back with you and despite my team doing their best to spoil it a wonderful weekend was had by all. We even enjoyed some good banter with a group of your fans in the pub before the game.

All was going so well, then the players arrived and spoilt it.
