At least Haris Vuckic has signed another year extension to the end of 16/17, but, then they go and spoil the big news of the day and send him out on loan to the hell that is Wigan....why would they do that when the PL is crying out for a top Slovenian to be amongst the rank and file..

Haidara will become a footballing Legend on Tyneside.....

Personally I think Gini and Mbemba look easily good enough. Clearly Mitrovic and Thauvin have good pedigree, but I'm convinced both have improved us (not difficult I know). I just hope in the next window we are going to finally sort out the defence. 2 (CB and LB) is a minimum requirement.

Apparently we went after Ashley Cole yesterday and he turned us down. Don't blame him like, but he'd have done for a season until we got somebody else in.

I'd have taken Cole as a makeshift. Burned too many bridges in Walker though and him going out on the town would have been a no-no. I'm sure the Cheryl Cole [or whatever her ****ing name is now] would have had a little chat with him.

Apparently Cheryl said if he came back he'd have his cheating balls hoyed in the tyne and his arse displayed in Fenwicks Window.
