RIP Dolores - I thought I would resurect this thread, hopefully it will not be taken over by the politicos like most of the others
No doubt the response will be a Billy Bragg song. That Socialist hero who did the classic White Flight to rural Dorset - because he has the money to do so!
As Fast Eddie Clarke also died this past week I offer you this one... arguably the best guitar solo ever. All three original members of the band gone. Hardly surprising, they lived the clichéd rock'n'roll lifestyle: Motörhead.
On the face of it, this appears dated - around 55 years old - but it was only released last year. I'm just hoping that the Travelling 'Orns have cause to perform it this evening.

Just off to see a heavy metal band called Delorean at a gig in Berkhamsted, not normally my bag but some of these musicians are fantastic. Need to get over another WFC loss today, might have to play the air guitar.
Strangely enough I have been revisiting the female Rod Stuart. I am quite enjoying her live performances, but it might just have something to do with the attractive backing singers.
Bon Jovi still ringing in my head this morning but I've got no plans to grow a ponytail. I'm really an old soul man.
Off to see a concert of Burt Bacharach music in Cleo Laines's Stables venue in MK tonight, it should slightly calmer than last night.
