I haven't decided yet Famous - I do rate Carlton House I just didn't like the way they went on like he was the only horse in the race at Epsom. Treasure Beach is an interesting horse. I put him up to win at Chester despite Nathaniel having the fitness edge. Looks like he has improved lots from 2/3, I wonder who will ride him/Seville

I reckon Carlton House will walk it. 3 lengths + is the bet.

Anyways I've had a dabble on that thing on Cats here - Tappanappa

If Paddy Power refund my bet quickly enough I'll be on this Catamount in Ireland. Like those Chinese White colours of Lady O'Reilly

Seville has no chance in the race. The trainer informed me at a function two weeks ago that the horse was only put in the race down to the insistance of the irish racing authorities because they thought they would only be attracting a max of 4 runners come race day.

Irish Derby looks decent enough. Seville did not really show up at Epsom and can put up an improved showing, Carlton House stayed well and was a little unlucky. Native Khan ran a very good race considering it was his first try beyond a mile and I think will build on that.

Treasure Beach form looks solid enough too. Good race

Clive Cox does get the occasional big-priced debutant winner and there is one I really liked on pedigree this evening. It is in the 7.20, where Pearl Mix is a very warm (and rightful) favourite, having had late support last time when running on strongly to a very promising second, and will have gone in many notebooks. However, Cox saddles DEVDAS, by Dylan Thomas out of a half-sister to New Approach, and I think if it is not too green, can get right in the mix this evening. 16/1.

Lovely stuff, 25/1 3rd. That will be a decent horse upped further in trip, made real nice headway late on, never troubled winner.

Carlton House won't stay a truely run 12f in soft ground which it will be come Sunday with all the rain thats is about to hit the Curragh over the next few days.

Im just glad that finally some english runners are coming over to take in the irish derby for too long they have stayed away.It makes the race much better
