wont be on tomoz day off these 2 from irishracing normally good stuff Spring Hawk (IRE) 8.50 Tipp Reasonable handicapper and unlucky in running on reappearance after seven months break when a staying on third to Cry For The Moon over 1m5f at Navan. Best form in the past when fresh, so interesting to see if she can follow up on this promising effort. Likes a sound surface. Fairylike (IRE) 8.20 tipp (reserve) Subject of a major gamble, despite being 7lb out of the handicap proper, when making the frame for the first time in six starts over 1m2f at Navan. Niggled along at the rear to keep in touch before staying on really well in the closing stages when runner-up to Late Debate. Obviously one of the lesser lights at Ballydoyle but looks capable of a modest handicap win around 1m4f.
What happened to the tip in the first race?Lost a ruddy fortune on that, still,i should have stuck to my philosophy,no such thing as a tip. Thanks anyway.
Here to Eternity in the next at Salisbury, I do think this one is really well handicapped off a mark of 69, think he could easily be a stone better than his current mark
Only just got round to looking at the racing today for various reasons. Anyway, i like the look of Midas Medussa in the 18-40 at Bath. Improved last time out and got beaten by a shoulder and has now been dropped down in class. So, she's my nap for tonight. Well done to all the winners and good luck to those having a play this evening.
Christ so much for my supposed Pipe plot today ................ another 4-letter word springs to mind
Good old fashioned Kempton all-weather this evening. Tricky one from a value point of view but there are one or two I thought might be worth a play. Mark Johnstons runners invariably begin to find form as the summer really gets into full swing and sooner rather than later we should get a much better showing from GREYFRIARSCHORISTA (8.50 Kempton). Handicapper given it a serious chance and there will come a point this season where it will rack up a sequence. Been out of sorts so far but did finish just over a length fourth on the AW in February. A mark of 77 is well within range- whether it will take advantage today I'm not sure, but Fallon booked and I would imagine he will give it a prominent- if not front-running- ride to give it a chance. Not the strongest of races IMO. 20/1 is a nice e/w price. Clive Cox does get the occasional big-priced debutant winner and there is one I really liked on pedigree this evening. It is in the 7.20, where Pearl Mix is a very warm (and rightful) favourite, having had late support last time when running on strongly to a very promising second, and will have gone in many notebooks. However, Cox saddles DEVDAS, by Dylan Thomas out of a half-sister to New Approach, and I think if it is not too green, can get right in the mix this evening. 16/1.
Just backed Seville for the Irish Derby at 5/1 he will be a lot shorter come sunday! Right off to the gym have a great night everybody and best of luck with your bets
Hi Topclass nice to see you over here Fammy I think that is a very good bet, didn't handle Epsom at all did he and Soumilion looked after him
RV by all accounts he never let himself down on the ground and being by Galileo and german bred will not have liked the fast ground if you watch the replay soumillion eased him down with 5f to go and was very kind on him.The track and the ground will suit on sunday and he was 7/1 this morning so i wanted to back him before he gets any shorter
