Is topclass the same topclassen that was on bbc 606 about a year ago?Whatever, congrats to you sir on your degree,i like to see young lads achieving in the world .Also its a good job youve done it before the fees go up!!! Can i suggest a wager on FERRUCCIO and PANDOREA tonight. Both trainers in fine form and the latter dominated to win easily on its debut run.
Well done Toppy mate! Get stuck into a nice bottle of wine tonight 8.30 Hamilton Captain Scooby 10/1 Captain Scooby takes on the quite unlucky Doc Hay tonight after they met last night at Carlisle. Although Doc Hay almost certainly would have beaten todays selection last night with a clear run and if he had missed the break, and could well have won. However, considering he missed the break last night and kept finding trouble, I think 11/10 is far, far too skinny for me and our selection represents much better value on what will be better conditions. Captain Scooby has been absolutely crying out for bucket loads of rain, with his form on good to soft or worse ground over 5f looking fantastic. This course and distance winners form on ideal ground at the trip reads 4 wins and 2 places from 9 runs. Captain Scooby is always there or there abouts, placing or winning in half of his 32 starts to date. Although last nights description read soft, the Clerk on the course stated there was much better ground on the stands rail so I think the short distance defeat to Le Toreador last night may be even better than it reads. Although he has not won since September last year, Captain Scooby has been coming back to a certain degree of form recently which has been evident in his last 3 runs. Trainer Richard Whittaker seems in good form, having had a winner and second already today. Tony Hamilton takes the reins again tonight, and is a jockey who I think can get the best out of this gelding. Although it is a slight concern that Captain Scooby is turned out this quickly for the first time tonight, connections certainly wouldn't risk him unless they thought he was in good health and was capable of winning. Although Doc Hay is a worthy favourite, there is too many concerns for me to touch 11/10. Captain Scooby will relish the ground for an inform trainer and I am hopeful this gelding can get home in front
Quite like the look of Chilled to the Bone in the next race at Leicester. only lost by 3/4 of a length to Frognal last time out - Frognal went on to win but, to be fair, got a bit of a thumping last night. Ah well - let's have a go anyway.
I know - I was thinking that myself. Backed the favourite last time Al Zarooni had 2 out at newcastle in th sam race so left well alone today. Hats off to those who either second guessed it happening again or even baked both.
8.10 Leicester Pandorea 9/2 This is Henry Candy's only runner tonight who looks to have a good chance. Although the whole one runner thing can often be misleading, in the last two weeks Candy has sent out one runner 3 times returning two winners and a 2nd which indicates he has a good record in this sphere. Pandorea made a winning debut quite late as a two year old back in October when beating subsequent winner Desert Shine by a length. This was a visually very impressive victory as this filly traveled ominously well before quickening up quite nicely under a hands and heels front running effort under Dane O'Neill. Pandorea should improve quite a lot from that run and is under the tutelage of O'Neill again tonight. It is a slight concern that she has been off the track for nearly 7 months, but as she won on debut she can clearly be readied first time out. The Candy stable has been in quite decent form recently and although it is quite a tricky little race, I hope to have solved it in the form of Pandorea.
Kenny Dalgleish does well with the horses ey Nass? Wonder of he'll struggle when the footy starts again
