Filon very well done and I think you hit the nail on the head - Midday didn't look her sprightly self today and may well have needed a longer rest after Epsom.
Afternoon all - been busy so haven't had a bet or watched any racing. Just seen misty for Me won - very pleased as I love that horse to bits - well done those who selected her and special congrats to those who didn't feel the need to put up Maurice the Mincer (aka the dancing man) in celebration. Chippy's golden rule is win with dignity and when you lose abuse everyone from the owner to the man who delivers the feed. Well done to all the others who selcted winners today as well The man in black - fair comment but were you aware that there is a swear filter on here so you can see it as asterisks rather than the actual word? Those that want to swear can and those who don't want to read it don't have to. Someone once told me that swearing isnlt big or clever - I'm 6 ft 9 and have a doctorate so i told him to go forth and multiply in 28 different languages and then decked him.
OddDog: Thank you! Get very few winners on here, so this was a pleasant change! Have a great holiday in Portugal, great country! Chippy: Hear, hear and one big from me!
Oddy, his ambition is to have a runner in every race at the Chester Cup festival. He stated of Chester "“Chester racecourse is outstanding,” he says. “When I go to Chester I have runners in almost every race. It has a special atmosphere. An important factor is the way [the racecourse] looks after owners and trainers, which is something many other tracks could learn from." He is a businessman of high repute Koukash interview He names his horses after his kids, hence lots of Layla's and Gabrial's
Nass I have to agree with him on Chester racecourse - best one I've ever been to Famous - you prefer Lady Rochford in the first? She may well come on for the run behind Maybe but the Iffraaj colt looks nice on paper so I'll be having a dabble on him. Best of luck
THANK YOU CHIPPY.I have found the swearing filter and tried it,but it appears to be well ****ed. Well as the old saying goes"if cannot beat em,join em".
Summer National at Uttoxeter tomorrow - Dom d'Orgeval been laid out for it. Also a Pipe "good thing" in the 5.25 Bold Perk
First at Donny could prove very informative, interesting to see Fretwell's so short in market and Pearl Bloodstocks of Hannon's is also high in the market. Both good two year old owners.
Has anyone seen the film Paul? Got it lined up for tonight. Nass Beyond Hubris took my eye in the first at Donny
Pearl Bloodstock strike with their runner trained by Hannon. A good debut, the Meehan's horses are going to be interesting next time out
