I wish Attenborough was commentating on this.

He would call you a brave bull. Hiag, going up against these hyenas, biting at your ankles.

But give up you don't as the hyenas disperse and regroup, waiting for their next strike.

    Fantastic.

He's less brave bull and more dumb ass.

  4. I am "investing" my fees, in the sense that I am not charging for my time, which is obviously what I would do if I was merely acting for the SPV (and/or the funder) on the deal. But that isn't the reason why I am in on the deal. Clearly, no sensible builder is going to simply give away his profits, merely to save a few grand on his legal costs.

But this is your problem, Tobes. You are so eager to wum and score points that you don't actually use what little intelligence you've got. I haven't told you everything about this deal - in fact, I've told you very little. Why the hell should I? What has any of it got to do with you?

I'd said, several pages back, that I got this deal on the table through contacts of mine - I said that they are excellent contacts. I've also got other deals on the table, one of which I have already been discussing with the same business partner - it's a deal that I have got through an IP. It looks interesting, and it might have some legs in it.

What does any of that matter to you?

Let's say I am... so what? Why is it so important to you that I have to be proved to be a fake?

  5. Exactly! I put the deal on the table. That is something that I have done several times, in fact, over the years, but I have always tended to take a back seat, and take a fee at the back end. This is the first deal where I am taking a pro-active part. The reasons for that are several, but the main one is that I'm effectively retiring from my main business, and have been looking at other opportunties to exploit for some while.

Again, why is any of this of interest to you, Stan? What difference does any of it make to you?

Go read post #753 again love.

This time focus on the bit where you said the only thing you stood to lose was your fees, as that's all you were putting in.

And then re-read the bit where you said he gave you the choice of being instructed by him or wetting your feet in the property development game by investing said fees.

24 hrs in and this has morphed into a number of projects that are all on the burner.

As for why do I care? I don't - as I explained earlier. I'm just amusing myself watching you tie yourself up in knots, as your lies are being slammed back into your grid.

You created a tale, embellished it and are now that buried in it that it's hilarious, as your ego won't allow you to back down from it.

I think you need to develop the character of the Cornishman a bit more.

Also the bit about how you're buying from the receiver, then the bank and then the owner needs to be rewritten. Whilst the way you floundered around the subject was hilarious, it was unintentional comedy. With a bit of effort it has enormous slapstick potential.

I think stan has gotten the better deal out of hiag and stan. Stan managed to get some prime real estate at a far lower cost and bought on some investment meaning hes literally risking nothing in a great deal!

Oh right so now despite not being a developer, and your builder having done a similar project in the same street.

It was in fact you who put this opportunity on the table, but it was your builder who gave you the choice?

It was a great deal Bobby but I do deals like that most days. The thing about me is I'm discrete and I keep my success "under the radar".

  11. Wet my feet with him on a deal. He's building the project out, not me.

You know nothing about this deal, or about my business, or about me. It's all so very desperate on your part, Tobes.

:) ... fair play Spurlock .. commendable support for a fellow spud ... unfortunately the 'brave bull' wandered off a fair while ago .. he did however leave a reminder of his presence in the form of some warm, brown whiffy stuff ... :)

So you've been personally involved in plenty of development projects before - with other (none Cornish) builders, have you mate?

  14. The windmilling is getting rather ragged, now, Stan. I think you need another breather.

That's a good idea. The Cornishman could live in a windmill that was featured on Grand Designs and won a certificate for Bestest Windmill Ever.

The windmill could be held in an SPV to give it extra credibility.

Now totally confused...are you a property developer HIAG or not, as this appears to be your first deal.
The reason I ask is that I've just removed a splinter and want to know if I can now call myself a surgeon?

I think we're only a page or 2 away from the Police being called here.

Go steady chaps, this could get messy

HIAG's managed to string this bollocks out for around 10 pages so far. I predict one of several scenarios:

1, He will simply continue to dig this massive hole for himself until he comes out down under.
    2. He will at some point blow his top and call the Police for being bullied
    3. He will claim that he ****ed up on purpose and has been 'winding' everybody up for his own amusement
    4. He will post a Picard/Fish/Popcorn/Nurse picture
    5. A combination of the above.

I think it's fair to say, that the self proclaimed "wum master" title that HIAG gave himself, has been exposed as a complete nonsense, a bit like his property developers credentials.
