  1. I hope so, mate, because (all wumming aside) I think Koeman is a very good manager. Had we not got Poch, I would like to have seen him at Spurs.

I hope you keep hold of him.

Unless Barca come in for him (which I don't think will happen) he'll be going nowhere mate.

He was ****e today though ffs <grr>

  3. The same goes for us and Poch.

I reckon Barca will have their eyes on the likes of Simeone, Allegri and Pep, before they take either Poch or Koeman, mate.

That first half, you looked like rabbits caught in the headlights, but you had a different shape in the second. I think we were hanging on a bit towards the end.

You were a definite banana-skin for us, today, and I would have settled for the draw, so overjoyed to get the win.

I've already said on the Spurs board that our set up was extremely negative today.

Despite the crap set up, we still signed our own death warrant. Barry turning his back on Kane's shot for the first, the keeper giving Schneiderlin a suicide ball for the second, and then completely falling asleep and allowing the only a player you had to find from the free kick a free run in behind for the 3rd. Absolute ****e.

  6. Amen to that, brother!

    Anyone but Poch.

Not that I think Poch would take even if it was offered.

  7. Agreed. You looked so solid up until that first goal

With the way your defence has performed this season, I was surprised to see so much ill-discipline. Koeman will not be happy with that.

In a heartbeat gimp! Why would he stay at a small club with a shyster holding his purse strings. Especially when he can have UCL football more than twice a decade?

Shrewd move...so even if it goes pear shaped after Wenger's departure, the fans will back the gaffer because it's Henry. No doubt he will be given longer due to his legendary status for the Goons as oppose to someone else. The owners obviously know the fan base well and know how to pull the strings.

  11. Agreed, Bruv.

It's a cynical move, but a clever one.

AFC's money-grasping owners know full well that Arsenal will most likely drop outside the top 4 for up to a decade, like 'Pool did, so they've got to get someone in whom the Gooner rank-and-file will be prepared to ride it out, in the face of the Spurs wum-fest that is to come.

The last thing that the piss-taking owners will want is for there to be the usual managerial merry-go-round every two seasons, because that is going to cost a fortune in sackings.

    Bookmarked

You're providing some real **** up gems today mate :)

  13. Why are you bookmarking what I think the Arsenal owners are thinking might happen?

It seems a bit pointless to me, Pix.

I had hoped that we could move on from the past.

... probably because you'd be doing exactly the same if he expoused his theories on what the Spurs owners are thinking might happen <whistle>

Because the owners aren't thinking that, unless you've got some kind of Clairvoyant abilities ? (Which given your record on predictions, suggests not). It was you that said you think that, therefore I have bookmarked it. :)

'Arsenal will most likely drop out of the top 4 for up to a decade'

Do you stand by this, or do you think it will be yet another comment that comes back to haunt you ?

I tried so hard not to post that pic of the woman letting rip with a volley of derisive laughter, but... for Christ sake! Get real, Mr Wenger!

  19. Pix, why do you persist in playing these childish games?

I had hoped that we'd moved beyond this kind of thing.

    Clearly you haven't though.

If you come out with a statement saying that 'Arsenal's money-grasping owners know that they are most likely to drop out of the top 4 for up to a decade'

Then don't start blubbing when I pull you up for talking ****e <ok>
