Important that we put runs on the board. Firstly to build some confidence in the batting. Secondly because our bonus points tally is awful. Thirdly because the weather looks poor for Tues & Weds, so in all possibility this game could be about nothing more than bonus points.
Our batting has been so poor this season, that that season makes me slightly uneasy!
But I did say before a ball was bowled this season that Somerset were my favourites for relegation this season, because on paper they have the weakest bowling attack in the division.
Fingers crossed that Jimmy can make a 100 from here. Early days, but Alsop is looking promising again.

I really, really hope that the radio have got it wrong when they say that Wheater has been dropped, as opposed to injured. There is no way that Smith, Benks and White can justify dropping Wheater.
