Had completely missed any announcement about it, but really enjoying BBC having the rights to showing highlights clips throughout the day.

As a cricket fan without Sky there's only so many times you can 'look forward' to the Channel 5 highlights!
 
Showers forecast for tomorrow so expect play to be on-off-on-off.....another tough day in store for Sri Lanka probably.
 
That's the perfect job, you get 5 days to work, but if you can finish it in 3 days to everybody's satisfaction then you can take the 2 days as a freeby
 
Hmmm, I wonder if England could send Vince back to us to play against Notts? I doubt it but you never know.

I think there's probably some truth in it. Bowling is physically unlike most things you're likely to do in the gym and mentally you can prepare far better by playing competitive games than by bowling in the nets. I'm sure Anderson is experienced enough to limit the number of overs he bowls for his county and can also bowl slightly within himself so he doesn't get too worn out. The likes of Trueman and Willis did it in the past when England cricketers played far more first class games.
