Good to see Wood getting amongst the wickets. He really has to take his chance whilst Berg and Topley are injured. Given his ability with the bat, he would be such an asset to our four day team if he could take his bowling on a level.

Jeez!...how long are Topley and Berg out for?...Liam Plunkett has hammered a ton against us and the only wickets to fall have been taken by part time bowlers!
Superb 100 from Ervine. Especially as he took a painful blow to the hand earlier. Still slightly concerned about that. As soon as he gets out or at the close he's going for an x-ray.

Hugely impressed with Hampshire today. Everyone who batted or is batting made runs and showed real fight after yesterday's calamity.
Stumps: Hants 450/8. Today Hants scored 309/3. Could not have asked for any more. Hope Ervine hasn't broken anything in his hand.
Great day, way better than I could have ever hoped. But with the luck we've had with injuries this season, I'm just waiting for the news that Ervine is out for 6 weeks. Same hand he suffered a break in last season (I understand), that put him out for two months. Still waiting on the news on Wood's knee too.
