Great win. I was targeting 15 overs for the chase, so very happy to do it in 14 overs.

I'm not sure who deserves to be MOTM. There were many very good contributions, but no absolute stand-out one - and consequently a few people are candidates. But I think I'll give it to Wood. He prevented their innings getting off to any start, and they never recovered (bat or ball) from there.
Another t20 century for Chris Lynn.
I'm not disappointed that we didn't bring him back this season because I'm absolutely fine with Stubbs and Cartwright. But with four overseas players allowed per team in the 100 this year, I do wonder if he'd have been a better choice for our fourth overseas player with Brave.

Had a fine afternoon at the Cricket. The venue took me back to the the 60s. A lovely vibe all round. A good sprinkling of Hampshire supporters. Beer at a reasonable price for London. A stress free game of cricket. Warm enough for short sleeves. Saw friends we hadn't seen for a while. Even the walk to and from the tube station was attractive. We bowled, fielded and batted better than Middlesex.
Albert signed an extended contract. Good news, as long as he learns to play red ball as well as he can the white ball stuff!

Pink balls will be used to limit play lost to bad light in Test matches in a trial introduced by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
They use pink balls in the day-night test matches. I guess the main argument here is that you're going from a traditional red Dukes or Kookaburra ball to a pink one in the same match. But something has long needed to be done about the farcical "bad light" situations.
Baker in the 12 man squad for the first test on Thursday. Sounds like it will either him or Atkinson.
