Great price for Miller. But I'm not convinced it's an area of our XI that we needed another overseas player for.

Hopefully an opener or a fast bowler will be our fourth one (preferably opener due to a lack of attractive domestic openers - Crawley though I would take).

Stubbs, Miller and Stoinis is a ridiculous middle order!

Totally, it's great.

But with only four overseas options, I'm not sure I would have committed so much to that middle order.

Crawley, Smeed or TKC would be fine as domestic openers. But I think I would still prefer to use our final overseas slot there, as we have our main spinner sorted and there are many domestic seamers.

Crawley is the big outlier in the next set. Everyone with a base price of £100k, except for him at just £31k.

I'm ok with it. It certainly gives us more flexibility to move players up the order if needed.

I'm not sure why Sunrisers were so eager for Crawley. On paper they already have a top three of Marsh, Rickelton and Brook.

I'm not a huge fan of that signing mainly because it suggests that we won't be interested in COverton later. Don't need three guys to open the bowling.

We do have one more £200k-type purchase in us for someone, if we wanted.

But we might prefer to get a few more at the £130k - £150k range instead.
