Great 50 from Jacks. That should end any doubt of an upset here. Italy shouldn't be getting close to 200.

Now to see if the Aussies can get out of a hole against SL. Lose (and it's a very real possibility) and they're surely out. Come on Sri Lanka!

Even though it feels like we've been some way below our best so far, we're the first side to qualify for the "SL group".

Realistically NZ have already done enough too, but it's not official for them yet. And all Pakistan need to do is beat Namibia. SL themselves will qualify if they beat Australia this afternoon, but if they lose - especially if they lose heavily - then things get interesting.

I'd rather it was Australia and Zimbabwe who qualify.

India and SA looked like the two strongest sides coming into the competition, and I haven't changed my mind. But having Australia in their group, rather than Zimbabwe, would at least put a tougher obstacle in their way. Even though this is far from a vintage Aussie side.

The added benefit would be us getting Zimbabwe rather than SL. But that's not a deal-breaker given that we've just beaten SL 3-0.

Today is the deadline for players to register for the 100 auction, so presumably we'll find out soon which overseas player are available. I think I want us to use our two slots on a big hitting opener plus a bowler.

SA and NZ players both have great availability, as do white-ball only players from pretty much every country (India being an obvious exception).

Can't wait for the auction. Hope it's on TV or streamed live. Think it's a great way of teams signing players in franchise cricket.

Nothing confirmed yet, to my knowledge. But I'm sure it'll be televised by Sky. All the new owners will want the attention, if nothing else. Sky were happy to televise the SA20 auction last year.
