The bad light up at Headingley means the draw is clearly the odds on result. Which means it's Fuller or Div 2 now.

Bloody hell, couldn't they put us out of our misery tonight! 32 runs needed tomorrow (a tie would do just fine), no chance probably. Let's all cheer on Yorks with a full day's play, hopefully they'll give it their all with the ball.

As I've said, I'm not that bothered about Div 2 cricket per se, perhaps it will force the management to realise the full extent of the batting issues we've all talked about for years (even with Vince).

It's more the reputational damage and that ability to attract the better batters needed that's the problem, if we're in Div 2.

Dear Rawmok! I thought Kent were going to have half decent season after beating Middlesex early doors. What has happened to your county since then beggars belief!

You’d like to think that professional cricketers would always give their all, but now Yorkshire can’t go down they might turn out in flip flops. After all travelling to Durham next season is easier than getting to Hampshire so let them get their draw.

I don’t suppose Durham would mind two hours batting from the last pair Aggressive bowling may be in short supply!

I don't think Yorkshire have a very aggressive bowling attack per se!!

Another defeat for us this season where one big partnership by the opposition, totally out of kilter with the rest of the game, has proved decisive.

Ultimately teams (football and cricket) don’t get relegated on the last day. It’s cumulative. Hants have been battered recently. Hope they can recover more quickly than Saints are doing.
