Rule number 1 is to bat the 50 overs. Did that unlike Gloucs over at Taunton so at least we have something to defend. Given the amount of times the ball bounces up off the outfield fielders need to watch out for their teeth!

Looks a bit of a green top to me. On paper we have a strong attack.. 3 slips and a gully. Treat as a first class game. 4 for 20 would change how we it. 2 new balls..

Very similar to one which Fuller got away with at the start of his innings

Just keep bowling spin for the foreseeable now. Build up pressure and if a heavy shower arrives hopefully they fall behind of the DLS score.

I personally wouldn't be bowling Jack. But fair play to him, he's keeping things very tight. And it will enable us to go deeper into the innings with spin on at least one end.

I must admit that Hampshire's score of 229 didn't seem to be very high, but our bowlers, combined with sharp catches, has meant that this is a very even contest. Hants are ahead on the DLS, so it looks remarkably promising. Cue some stunning batting....

Neil was a club bowler before this tournament and he has been exceptional throughout.

It would be a huge call - and I doubt we would do it - but it can't be ruled out that he's selected at Dawson's replacement for t20 finals day, if we win the QF.
