Hopefully that wicket helps Jack too. He seemed to be struggling to get his line right to two left-handers, so with Westley being right-handed hopefully he'll go better when bowling to him.
 
I can't get the You Tube, Essex v Hampshire stream to work, a new layer of anti bot protection callled Reciteme? combined with Firefox is preventing me from accessing the stream. Worked fine for the first seession?

Oh dear, Mackenzie Jones making his FC debut, first ball is a full toss over waist height so he gets a warning straight away!
 
Solid session for Hants. Excellent 50 from Middleton, who's ensured the runs have kept flowing nicely.
 
Decent first innings from Somerset. 498 in a day and a half is reasonable, shame we missed out on the 5th BP though.

Will be interesting to see how Craig Overton manages his bowlers.
