Well, both of our openers did score 40+!An accusation that is equally true of Hampshire, looking at the relative scores!

Who needs openers though?Well, both of our openers did score 40+!
I would be absolutely amazed and delighted with a 200 run lead, I was going to say that we need to try to push as close to 150 lead as possible. Something around 100 would still leave us in charge, but nowhere near as much as it could and should have been. Even psychologically the extra 50 (to have a ca. 150 lead) makes it sound so much more intimidating and puts us back firmly in charge.Very good day. With his SR, Albert had to make sure he stayed in to the close and he did so fair play. Need to make sure we get a 200+ run lead tomorrow and not 100.
150 lead should be the minimum. Tracks at the Bowl usually flatten out on day 2 so no excuse not to bat until at least mid afternoon.I would be absolutely amazed and delighted with a 200 run lead, I was going to say that we need to try to push as close to 150 lead as possible. @tomw24 , I know that you meant 'bat', not 'bad', but let's hope that 'bad' isn't an unfortunate prophecy!150 lead should be the minimum. Tracks at the Bowl usually flatten out on day 2 so no excuse not to bad until at least mid afternoon.
