I'm not too fussed about Whiteley leaving a year early. But it does mean that I'm even more annoyed about us letting Donald go.

I haven't heard a single incoming rumour. And I'm a little bit jealous about Warks picking up Garton.

If Ellis is part of Aus' t20 WC squad next year - which would likely result in him not returning next season - I wonder if we might be forced into replacing him with a middle order batter. But then again, any half decent overseas player will likely be at the t20 WC with him. Otherwise, Albert is our only spare batter to replace Whiteley atm.

I wouldn't entirely rule out Turner being included in England's T20 WC squad either.
 
For someone of Phillips' ability, that is a shocking drop. (Not that it should make any difference. I'm expecting India to win this match probably by a massive margin from here.)
