Solid win.

I was expecting us to promote Fuller or Whiteley ahead of Weatherley, with the hope of maybe getting the game won an over earlier (anything to help our NRR hammering from Wednesday) - but that's a small point.

Great work in the end to keep Middlesex down to 171, but if the umpire was concentrating it wouldn't have even been that many. Higgins looked to be plumb LBW to Crane when still on zero. Not that it changed the final outcome.

I'd expect Surrey and Somerset to stay in the top two positions (and quite probably run away with the division), but I'd like to think we'll get one of the other two qualifying spots. Tough call on who the fourth side might be though.

That was emphatic.

At least there is one sports team this city (and county) can be proud of.

Poor old Cracknell on the Middlesex side had an innings of light hearted sledging from a small group of lads who were somewhat worse for wear to boot, think he will be hearing them in his dreams.

Looked high to me watching the stream.

Yes it's a small out-ground, but this is brutal hitting by Cooke and Ingram.

I notice we're playing Middlesex at Radlett again. The ground which has all bowlers coming away relieved if they go at under 10 an over! It's also a ground where I'd consider shoving Whiteley up the order.
