Presumably Abbott for Fuller will be our only change.

Looking around the rest of the division; Lancs are without Livingstone and Mahmood (in addition to Buttler and Jimmy), Somerset have Gregory, Overton and Leach available, Yorks have Malan available (but not Root or Bairstow), Warks have Woakes available, and finally Hameed oddly hasn't been made available for Notts.
 
I'm guessing Abbott failed a fitness test this morning?

Not the greatest start when we chose to bat, in bright sunshine. But then again, it can arguably be explained by Fletcher being the highest wicket taker of the season (I think) and Weatherley being rubbish.
 
Seemingly another week where Warks pick up no batting points, and Yorks concede no batting points.

Felt like that was coming the whole way through his innings. Interesting that the ball is still moving so much after 36 overs.
 
I don't care how slowly Daws scores here. He could be 0 off 50 balls for all I care. Just please try and find some form from somewhere. For this match, for Saturday, for next week. It's very difficult to carry him when he isn't offering any runs. The rest of our batting, in both formats, isn't strong enough.
 
Fair enough. Gubbins and Vince combined scored at least twice as many as they should. So we can't really begrudge that wicket.
 
I'm quite happy with how today is panning out so far. Yorks are 27-3 at the moment and are up against Woakes.
 
I don't for one moment expect us to replicate that middle session in the final session (roughly 120-3). But if we somehow could, I'd be delighted. Given the amount of swing which continues to be on offer, anything close to 300 should be an excellent score. I'd be more than satisfied with 230 to be honest.
 
That's poor from Organ. Either get the boundary to bring up the batting point, or get the single to steal the strike. Not two dot balls.
 
Didn't quite get my 230, but I'll take that.

The key now is that the ball swings as much for Abbas and Barker as it did for Notts. Because if it does...
